You’re so cute! LOL I love your personality. Also, I had “tweet it and delete it” in my head before I clicked on your video😳 Anyway, I’ve definitely been conditioning and deep conditioning my locs. It feels so much better after. The first few weeks of having them i listened to the advice given by this loc group that I’m part of and my hair was dry, stiff and crispy. Just like loose natural hair, you gotta do what works for YOU

Exactly! What works for you may not work for everyone else and vise versa. It’s really about learning about your locs and what works for your hair 🥰

Your very observant as to hair treatment and maintenance. I also feel like coconut oil clogs my pores and its good to have a similar opinion confirming the possibility. Thank you for your videos 🙂

Anytime! Yeah, coconut oil is a big no. At least for me.

I thought I was the only one that coconut oil doesn't agree with my hair. It itches for some weird reason😂 . Thanks for the advice , love from Trini 🇹🇹

Hi Shanese😊 what do you feel about braid outs? And how do you dry your locs? Air dry or sit under the dryer?
@ShaneseDanae4 жыл бұрын
Heyyyy!!! I love braid outs. I mainly do braid outs when I have a lot of new growth and stretch my retwist. I sit under a dryer mostly. I never let my hair air dry but that’s just a personal preference. My hair is thick and takes too long to dry and I’m afraid of mildew since it’s always humid here.

I’m in Florida who put your loc extensions in your hair ? I just got mine and someone charge $400 but I haven’t seen her work so I’m just wondering who did you go too

Okay question! Im almost one month in on my loc journey and i have washed my hair since i work out everyday. Should you condition starter locs? I saw that it wouldn’t help with the locing since conditioner is very loosening and moisturizerizing. If so, what conditioners do you recommend and how often should u condition
@ShaneseDanae4 жыл бұрын
Hey Love! I wouldn’t condition with start locs unless your hair is locing really well. You don’t want to risk it to be honest at least in my opinion
