Thanks for this Great resource to have all these tips in one video. Another way to get a shiny die cut is to use clear package tape on the cardstock first then cut it out.

I may have already known about embossing die cuts, but if so, I forgot - so thanks for the reminder! One caveat I'd give for anyone who might not know, is for that sort of technique, you need to die cut THEN emboss. Otherwise the embossed detail will get squished if you do it the other way around. Also, a la Jennifer McGuire, you can easily make your own shimmer spritz to at least save some money. Get some shimmery pigment powder (e.g. Perfect Pearls) & a spray/mister bottle. Fill the bottle with water - it can be just regular tap water, nothing fancy needed. Then just add a small scoop or 2 of the powder into the water & shake well. It might take a bit of experimenting to get the right powder-to-water ratio for your taste, but it doesn't take much powder to get a good shimmery mix. You will have to shake it each time you use it, of course. I have never know it to clog the sprayer nozzle or tube in mine, & Jennifer has said the same about hers. The cost is less, and you can also use pigment powder for other techniques, or even to make your own shimmery watercolors if you mix it with gum arabic & water. Just a tip. Thank you for sharing all these techniques, Jess. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
