Great review Ed. I have the Kubota RTV 900 in camouflage. No cab, heat, or air. It is a effect fit on the farm. Perfect for me anyway. We got mine in 2015 and have 600 hours of hay hauling, wood hauling, fence building, barn yard dragging, checking on the cows, checking on fences, and any other uses for it. I even go get the mail with it. After all, it is over 250 feet to the mailbox. Uphill both ways. Every time that I service it, I am impressed at how well it is made and designed. It has the heaviest frame in the industry and is very easy to service. One of its greatest attributes is how easy it is on fuel. It just sips the fuel. I could not be happier with mine.

Great to hear, Gary. Wow, up hill both ways! Haha. These machines are definitely built to work!

I run a RTV900, with a front 60 inch manual plow and a box mounted salt spreader, for winter snow removal at work. It is a workhorse, but wish for a 60 inch hydraulic controlled brush and or snowblower. Would really like the RTV1100x to get the hydraulic in cab controls. Both are great units.

Nice review of the RTV. The advantage for me is with the RTV top speed being 25 and it’s titled as a tractor I can legally drive it on the road between properties here just like I can a tractor. That’s a beautiful property your at!

Good Morning Sir, OUTSTANDING Intro video 😇👍👌 Very nice farm pasture too 😇👍 They have a lots of these on the RCAF Base here and other place for staff various land care management, carpenter and maintenance crew for fixing various WW 2 built era old buildings 🥴🥴 Great hand controls 👍😇👌 Perhaps or maybe and I'm not sure but the radiator behind is the engine one and the front one is for the HST oil and AC ( Look at the cooling cap on the one behind or beside the engine but the same cap too on the front too ? 🥴 ) OUTSTANDING REVIEW VIDEO SIR Cheers 🍻🍻

As an owner of a Kubota RTV900 I appreciated this review of a deluxe version of this work model. I am happy with my basic model, but I can dream of having a full cab, heat and cool! I have a 10 acre property that I keep in a park like state, mixed meadows, gardens and woods and it is the perfect vehicle. I rarely have need to take it out on the road but when I do they are all graveled dirt roads here and the 27 mph limit is plenty fast.

We have a RTVx1140 and love it. It is slow and heavy so its not good for muddy conditions, but I've never gotten it stuck in our farm forest trails. I love how stout the thing is and it is made to work (pulling, hauling, etc). My favorite feature is the hydraulic dump trailer!

Great review, have to agree with you on all points. I have a RTV-500, the twin cylinder gas powered one. It is used on my horse farm daily pulling a manure spreader, hauling firewood, field to field transportation and even maintaining 25 miles of equestrian trails. It really is more tractor like than ATV like, just what I need.

Another good video, thank you. The 1100 is a great machine! Both of my next door neighbors have one. Both have boss v plows. Really built to last. They both were pushing me to get one so we could be the three amigos haha. But I wanted the b2601 to replace my old bx25. Anyway, Thanks for sharing.

Very good report Ed. They are a well built piece of machinery, but they need another 10-15mph. Also I think you are paying a premium for the name, too many $$$$. A hunting camp near me has one, they are still out to lunch on it.

Seems like a nice vehicle. However, once you get up in that price range you’d likely be far better off buying a road worthy Jeep Wrangler for a few bucks more. Faster, stronger, better carrying/towing capacity and you can use it off the farm as well. Just my 2 cents. Great tour, Ed.

Nice review, Ed. I've been wanting one for over a year but as time goes by I'm thinking a couple of 4 wheelers would give my family more use. My trails are pretty tight and these things are too wide I think. Actually, your golf cart would be a good option for us I think!

That's the exact rig we want to get for Piney Grove, Ed. But not sure we can stomach the price! Biggest complaint I've heard about them is the smell of diesel and they are sloooooooowwwwwww!! Would you trade your Mule for it?
@MyClutteredGarage2 жыл бұрын
Hey Brad. In a business sense, if I could get the Kubota for the same price, I guess I'd trade. But the Mule is a better fit for my needs. There was no diesel odor that I noticed, so that wouldn't concern me. It's a really nice machine!
@tractortalkwithgary12712 жыл бұрын
One of the biggest considerations for you Brad would be the bed size. To my knowledge, Kubota has the biggest one. That does come in really handy. There is a farmer about an hour north of me that loads 1500 lb round bales onto the bed of his RTV 900 like mine and feeds his cattle with it. That is a bit extreme but the unit is capable of doing it. My Dad always said that just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
@MyClutteredGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@tractortalkwithgary1271 yes Gary. The bed on the Mule Pro MX is very limited. Probably my biggest “complaint”.

Serious question. How do you think that this would do on snow tracks? I’m looking at putting one of these on tracks with a plow and pulling a snow groomer. Possibly pull a sled. I’m looking at building a Mini Snowcat out of one of theses.

Those are very nice vehicle Ed. The company I work for just bought us one. Just like that. I especially appreciate the roll up windows and of course the A/C. It's a 1100 as well. Very nice indeed. Not sure what they cost, and I probably would never buy one, but they are nice.

Nice review. Personally see absolutely no point in a vehicle like this however. They get so fancy you might as well just get a pickup that you can use on the roads and at higher speed. People are never happy with a cheap basic work vehicle and always want more until they are no longer cheap or basic. My old Gator is fine for work around the property and I'm sure it's good for another 20 years.
@MyClutteredGarage2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I guess everything has it's place. I like those mini-trucks too for farm use.
@kdegraa2 жыл бұрын
Agree, as soon as one of these vehicles have doors then you may as well have a vehicle like a Toyota Hilux. To me the whole point of work side by side vehicles is their ease of access, being able to get in and out of it easily. On a farm one generally needs to get in and out of a vehicle fairly regularly.
