My first fourwheeler I got when I was a kid was a Tao Tao 125 and I’ve had it for a couple of years, when I got older I decided to do some mods to it. I replaced the air filter, fuel filter, and exhaust. Not only did it sound good after the exhaust, it also made a ton of power from it. I weighed about 180 back before I sold it and it preformed extremely well for a 125, with more than enough power. Never went past half throttle because of the good power it made.

Lil Curry223 I have a 2012 kazuma falcon 110 semi automatic 4 speed with Revers a 1994 manco dingo buggy 8hp Briggs Stratton with the governor all the way up it runs 75 + mph that I have had since my 5th birthday and I am 29 now my 12 year old son rides it I have a 1983 Honda 200s three wheeler I ride a 1996 Polaris trail boss 250 my wife rides I have a 2010 Baja warrior 200cc trail bike I converted to a belt drive and turned the governor all the way up and it runs 70 / 75

I've got a 90cc one with out the rear rack and I am 16 now and it pulls me up hills and though long grass fine!! Probably the best quad any one can buy as they are fun,, and last for ever,, got my quad when I was 6 so 10 year and a LOT a fun and crashes later it still goes!!!!

i used to have around the same kind when i was 6 and it was full open throttle. Alot of lessons learned but its good to not take throttle off for children i think. Makes them learn to ride at what they are comforitable with and can handle

+FearlessFront (Todd Christopher) Btw, you can buy softer springs on the cheap if you figure out which dimension fits yours from the bicycle world. eBay has quite a few of them. My ATV had awfully stiff springs, even with two people, you'd be hard pressed to find any give, by luck, i happened to have four soft springs and with a bit of modifications (the washers and retainer cup are different) i got them to fit. Since this is a child ATV i think it's worth looking in to it.

My Dad has one that looks just like that without the rear rack. He bought it back in 2008 for the Grand kids to ride when they go to his house. Well its 2016 and its still going strong. Nothing more than normal maintenance (regular oil changes, valve adjustments, chain lube, replaced chain and sprockets, and replaced battery) The biggest thing is, when you get them go over the ENTIRE quad. loctite all bolts, this thing does vibrate some, put dielectric grease on all electrical connections, and just look at everything and use common sense for preventative maintenance. They are well worth the money to teach a youngster to ride.

have the same one. theses Lil four wheelers are beastly!! no lie they can take a jump, catch air. open full, theses boys can pass a big four wheeler in second. time to be a lot of rip up the field. I love doing jumps, wheeled, and fish tailing. man o man!

Sweet, glad its running good for you, I mean,,your son. I recently bought a 2003 Polaris 330 trailboss for $500, i could not pass up,just needed a tune up. I still love my muddin mower because I built it. It's always nice to have a variety of toys, I need to build another shed though to store them in, but I guess that's a good problem to have.

Both of my daughters started out on chineese honda clone 110's (at 9 yrs old). They both ran fine when we got rid of them but the suspensions were falling out of both. My oldest graduated to a sportsman 400 and the youngest was only on the 110 for a single season before she got a ds 250. The youngest is gonna give me a stroke...she's 14 now & wants to build a 4mil banshee.

I got one of these mini atv's for Christmas last year, but I live in south Florida so there is pretty much no where to ride it. I go up to my grandpas and he has 30 acres, so I can ride it there , but down south I'll get stopped by cops anytime I'm on it. Can't go in the road, even in my neighborhood, can't go on the sidewalk, and can't even go on the grass. If the cops catch you they'll just impound it, and arrest you for not driving a valid motor vehicle

I had one of these a few years ago someone gave it to me when they couldn't get it to run, cleaned the carb and it ran like new, had a blast using it to get the mail, bashing on it and what not but got tired of having to weld the frame when it broke lol

The throttle limiter on the TaoTao 110 kids four wheeler is just a screw up on top of the throttle where the cable runs through right by where you push it in just back it out and that thought it will open wide up

My son has a 90cc Roketa and it pulls me really well and I weigh 300 lbs. The suspension does not like it though but the engine doesn't seem to struggle at all. They are great beginner quads and cheap to buy. The downside to them is that they don't last long(low quality) and my sons always seems to break and needs maintenance. you probably wouldn't have much issue if you purchased brand new.

These actually aren't that bad at all. We deleted all the safety kill switches. They were cheap and often malfunctioned. Mikuni carb upgrade and it was a blast to ride.

I have a 110 cc and a 50 cc I'm 220 lbs and the 50cc would haul me at 30 mph no problem.. then it blew up so the kids ride the 110 and I took the 50cc that blew up and put a predator 212cc engine on it and now that little thing will do 50 mph and is scary fun

So, as awesome as that is, iyou like that, you should look for a 2006 or newer Honda trx 90, they have 4 gears but no clutch and will do 45+mph with a 130lb teen on them, they have better ground clearance, and they still have the throttle governor option, they are way more fun, however, good buy!
