I have one of these, upgraded the engine from a 110 to 125, upgraded carb, jeted, both sprockets upgraded, new air shocks 1 inch bigger all around, and the biggest tires i could find and put some halo lights from a Harley on it.... super fun to drive.

He wont be able to ride it until the spring though because we already have over 2 feet of snow on the ground in Sudbury Ontario Canada and it's only December 20th. - its gonna be a long cold winter up here. I paid $550 for my sons. Bought it for him on his 4th birthday. Had it two years now and he’s definitely put it thru hell. Broke so many parts, but luckily you can find all the parts online. (Most of the parts he broke was metal material from hardcore off-roading that a typical 4-6yo probably shouldn’t be doing, but he does it. Kinda badass tbh) I’m 250 pounds as well and it’s super fun. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

i dont even use the choke on my chinese dirt bike, i got it tuned to the point it starts when i hit the button, take care of things and they run for ever, got it a yr ago, its a 2007 rebuilt it runs like a champ

Idk if you still have this atv but we had one of those and we tightened the throttle screw all the way down and I was riding it at only about 5 mph and the front axle blew apart and flew me off the front almost landing on my head

Check the exhaust flange nuts. They came loose on my sons TaoTao and it rattled horribly. I tightened them then went to the hardware store and got 2 more nuts and used them for jam nuts. No more rattle. Ended up doing that with all 4 of my Tao machines.

My boys tao tao is giving me so much trouble. It would do nothing when trying to start it. So the ignition switch battery silinoid starter spark plug all been bought and replaced. It tries to start but still wont. Please help. My boy is so upset. I just bought it in may and its been this way since august. Please someone help me.

If it's trying to turn over but won't start, sounds like it's not getting any fuel, or the carburetor needs to be cleaned or replaced. take a spray bottle fill it will gas. take the air filter off and while the engine is trying to turn over spray a little gas into the carburetor to see if it starts. If the motor starts and then dies then you have a dirty carburetor jet, or your fuel lines are clogged. you can pull the fuel line off of the carburetor and see if fuel comes out of the line. if not check the lines and the shut off valve. if you're getting fuel to the carburetor then there is a jet that's plugged. You can sometimes clean out the jet by keep spraying fuel into the carburetor till it stays running by itself. Take the air filter off and spray some fuel in the opening of the carburetor, Don't spray a lot, just give it a squirt and then press the starter. after it kicks over and starts to run, spray a little bit more in, wait for about two seconds in between sprays or before the engine dies. Keep this up until the engine stays running by it's self. make sure you put the quad's back axle up on jacks and the wheels are free to spin if the bike does not have a gear shift. if you don't want to do it that way then you can take the carburetor off and take it apart and clean it with carburetor fluid and then test again. and if you want to skip all of this, you can always purchase a new carburetor
