The fitness equipment at the Florida surprised me. The Rogue Assault treadmill and Hoist equipment are top quality usually found in commercial fitness gyms.

We felt the same way, but it was probably one of the best gyms we saw! 👍

Thank you for the video! I am 43 and been in my career for almost 18 years. I want to ditch the rat race, sell everything including condo/car here in the US, cash out my 401k, and go all in. Im just scared of the logistics. I am Laos American so Thai sounds familiar but I only know English 😅 Hoping to retire early in my mid 50s and collect social security if Im living at 65.

You're going to low wages region. You better build up your savings and pension now. 18 years is nothing, try 35.

Thanks for doing this video. I think the 2nd one is a pretty good buy. Decent size space + washing machine are a big big plus. Lack of gym is really not an issue, esp if there is one in walking distance.

You are right, it's definitely a great condo, loved the space and the building is quiet.... which you don't always find in a highrise! 👍 Thanks for your feedback! ❤️

I will go with 2nd one - View Tally 2. Good size, solid building, spacious hallway, lower maintenance fee, and closer to central area and facilities.

Good choice! Can't beat those older buildings! 👍 this one was so well kept! 👍

Another great video. The quality of the first building really struck me. BTW, here in Mississauga its nauseating just seeing real estate prices. For 175k CAD literally wouldnt even be enough for a 20% down payment on houses here.

Awe, thank you for the feedback. It means a lot! It's a shame how out of control real estate has gotten in Canada, especially in your area! Wow! 🤯

The first one is nice surroundings, but too small and no washing machine. The second is nice size with washing machine, but the surroundings are not so nice. So I would keep looking, probably a compromise in size and surroundings, but never without washing machine.

I love that a washing machine means the same to you as it does me!..... the view talay building is a well constructed building I gotta say! But, there are so many to choose from you'd definitely find what you are looking for! 👍thank you for watching. 😁

Hi there! 👋 Yes, very good building! 👍

We would question the build quality of the first building, the Florida. The single drop in kitchen sink looked cheap with an amateur looking silicone job. It really looks like only a cold water tap at this sink. What do you think? Also we are curious about the pronunciation of Pattaya. We were told there is no “eye” in Pattaya. Also, electricity seems to be the only thing in Thailand that is not cheap, considering you need to run the air con so much.
@wattstraveling7 ай бұрын
Hi there! You have a keen eye, yes it's only a cold water tap (very common in Thailand) but honestly, the construction looked good, not sloppy like some one seen. As for the pronunciation it's Pat-aa-ya... no "eye" I've been coming for years.... and use them both.... but officially it's Pat-aa-ya... so I'm trying to change! Lol And it's funny you mention the electricity....a lot of people don't even use air con.... it's very much a North American thing..... many people just open the windows and like the breeze. We haven't adapted..... YET.... and still use air, we use it all the time and our bill was approx. 65CAD per month. Thanks for the questions! ❤️thanks for watching

The high was 39° today in Koh Lanta, but it’s the humidity that makes it much worse. Bring on air con.

if you dont need or want amenities you are paying big dollars for what you dont want in most of these condos

You can definitely get cheap condos with no amenities, but these are important to us and like to have the pool and gym and think the price is still reasonable for having them! 👍

Fyi if a condo is government rate just say that don't list the per kilowatt per # the government changes the rate multiple times a year. You could literally outdated days after posting a video. If your just passing through thailand you probably didn't need this info😊

Hey there! Thanks for that info! 👍 I just try and look at all the expenses when living here... because I've also learned that those expenses can be different (when renting) not just buying and living long term! 👍 plus, if you are watching this for the first time, people don't realize how utilities are billed in Thailand, that's why I included it👍

Quick Questions Regarding The Grand Florida: Laundry Facilities On-Site? (You Mentioned Not In Unit) Is It On The Baht Bus Route, And How Far From Central Pattaya? Approximately How Close To Grocery Stores & Markets? Thank You, Very Much, Another Excellent Showings!👍👍
@wattstraveling7 ай бұрын
Hi there, I didn't see laundry on site, there are hookups on the balcony tho, if you wanted to buy one. There are bahtbuses that run down sukhumvit but not as frequent as beach road, i honestly don't know the bahtbus schedule out that way. t's about 25 minutes by car to central. There is a mini big C and a lotus not far but need a car/scooter. Hope that helps? Thanks for your feedback 👍
