Kaydene Williams no I didn't. I used hair I found at my local beauty store. I ended up using free tress hair for the bottom and Afro bulk human hair to wrap with.

Angie R I used 3.5 packs of hair total I think. I used almost all of the Afro kink bulk hair to wrap with. And the hair I used on my ends, I ended up cutting this packs in half so it went further.

Brittany Cottle you don't have to add weave. but watch out cause doing that could cause breakage since your hair can end up matting with the weave

use regular kanekalon hair to braid th hair. braid the ends together and dip in hot water so they're curly. wrap the braids in marley hair. same price or cheaper than regular faux locs.

I currently doing Goddess locs right now and referring to this video. I'm using a combination of Freetress Deep Twist braiding hair and Freetress Water Wave, both in 22 inches for the braids themselves (I want the curl pattern to look more natural and random at the ends, some I'm combining the two types of hair when I braid) and for the wrapping of the braid, I'm using Freetress Cuban Twist hair. Both are significantly cheaper, especially if you buy them online at www.houseofbeautyworld.com/. Sign up for their mailing list, as they have constant sales. Right now, it's 20% off and always free shipping if you buy $50 or more. I always treat the hair with some apple cider vinegar in warm water to get rid of the itchy residue. Then I towel dry it about 75% and then add a little bit of Cantu leave in conditioner and then let it dry all the way before I install it. It softens the hair and makes it feel more natural. Hope this helps!
