I wish I could find an affordable revolver-training class over here in Alabama.

I didn't hear any talk about semi jacketed hollow points. Those will expand in .38 Special+P in a snubby. Also Critical Defense .38 Special+P, Short Barrel Gold Dot, LSWCHP's, Winchester Rangers and HST's expand, and this is in gelatin. That's not even getting into the fact that the human body is not gelatin and contains a ribcage. Nothing wrong with wadcutters, 200 gr .35 Rem bullets (.38 Super Police) that tumble and even 158 gr LRN if it's a soft enough alloy. I don't want to make this comment too long, but the rundown is that gelatin is thick water as where the human body is skin, bones and adrenalin.

Sam, I agree that gelatin is not a true test, but rather for comparison. But we shot some of the listed rounds and they did not expand. I honestly think it's a crap-shoot. The +Ps are far more likely to expand, and they are also harder to get back on target. My experience with the old Cor-Bon DPX 110gr - I think it's the same Banes copper bullet used in the BB -- always expanded in gelatin, but they're running hotter than the non +P BB. Secondly, I do often see a variance in velocity from different brands of gun with the more or less same barrel length. It causes me to err on the side of caution...expansion is, essentially, a welcome surprise.

Two advantigas more. In a close quarter gunfight a pistol could be pushed out of battery because auf the brownig locking mechanism. Not so with a revolver. And if a cartridge dont go of you just have to pull the trigger again.

Trying to find this podcast Under "triggered " was just dumb luck, mostly Trump junior and some trump detractors instead podcasts and I am now subscribed .
