Meals sound great I should have my eyes tested really but never do get round to it I'm relying on poundland specs lol I've had a soreen banana one crisp and a chicken aalad cream sarni later is curly fries southern fried chicken and chesse beans

Waitrose isn’t as dear as people think, our nearest is about half hour away but I often order online with them.. if you sign up for a card they send you money off vouchers in the post quite often too, usually 20% (ie £8 off £40) Iceland is quite good too if you have one nearby, they have recently extended their £1 value range and offer quite a lot of different things now so it’s not all frozen foods xx

Not silly, there's loads of things I haven't had! It's ground chickpeas with olive oil, lemon, salt, I think that's about it. You can make your own or buy it (never made my own) xx

Love m&s, especially the fruit and veg, last for weeks, taste great quality, aldi worse for fruit and veg. No taste, stay fresh for 2 days if you're lucky my favourite supermarket are m&s and sainsbury not had anything go off in fresh items at all 😊

I shop in sainsburys and find it quite reasonable especially with the nectar prices. What i dont get from sainsbury i go to aldi buy i sm not to keen on their fruit quality

Oh honeybee it wouldn't be a vlog without your bra in the background lol. 🤗 i get my fruit and veg from m&s its quality is outstanding and it lasts much much longer so i my mind its worth the extra spend. I think shopping at m&s is good value but only if you practise self control and avoid the expensive treats i know the layout of my local and make a bee line to the aisles i need whilst avoiding the desserts bakery sweets crisps and deli px

Claire why are you getting Lily’s eyes tested? Not to sound argumentative but my daughter is 5, I’m extremely short sighted so I’m wondering if I should get my daughter’s eyes tested too? You wear glasses so is it that reason or other? If that makes sense xx

I was told ot get their eyes tested, just as a matter of course, once they started school. I think I was advised bmthat by my optician. I did it with both my boys too. Just meant that I had peace of mind that their eyes were healthy (they take pic of back of eye and everything) and they weren't having an vision issues xx

My granddaughter had hers tested just before 5 years old and found stigmatism so it is important . Neither my daughter or her partner wear glasses

Here in Australia they visit the preschools when the kids are 4 years and do a basic test and refer them on if needed. I think it's a good idea before they start school.
