1st run with a 19'' pitch achieved 5800 RPM. 2nd run with 17'' @ 6100 RPM. Surprise performance.

Friend I like your math. Keep it honest and do right by YOUR boat. Great 2 part series. I like the boat, but love the motor. I have the 115 normal not so sho lol, and checked out for your sho. A keeper for sure. Love the width of that boat. Simple and easy to run both sides in tight areas. And without liner, you'll spend more time reeling vs repairing. Stay well.

Great vid. Really appreciated those figures you noted at the end. Wanted to ask because I have the same motor... for the one with the 19 inch pitch, what is the name brand, model, and diameter of your prop? Also is it a 3 or 4 blade? Thanks.

It is a Solas Rubex, 3 blade, 13'' x 19''

If you are a tiller now you'll want to find a way to route the cable out of the way. I ran all mine under the floor.

It is of the same engine family. Not sure how but they got it up to 125 hp, More than likely through an ECU program.
