Hey Dave.....Good fish mate....I landed a 118 cm fish a few k's down from the Mary River barrage back in 1994. Took my wife for a trip to the NT back in late April (She had never caught a barra before). We went to Shady camp (I had booked a hire boat) and headed down to the little outlet creek where I had done so well in 94'. My wife caught her first barra a half hour in...a 62 cm fish!...would you believe, on the same lure I caught the 118 cm fish 30 years earlier. We were both stoked!!. I am the guy who used to make 'Eddy Lures' (Stinger, Dam Buster, Wasp, etc). Still being made by JD/Eddy Lures in NSW. Love your vids, Dave. You and Carnage are true legends, and I live my Northern Australian fishing life now, through you guys. Keep it up!....I'll be watching....Cheers...Ed

Hi Ed, Wow mate what a great story 118 back in the day and starting the Eddy Lure. I definitely believe your no stranger Barra fishing and seen many Barra coming over the side of the boat. That’s bloody amazing using the lure you got a 118 and then your wife catching a Barra on the same lure 30 years later, mate to me that pretty special let along just having that all these years later. Ripper fish on the porosus . I agree the Kimberley has better fishing. Ive caught all 3 of my metery's there. 2 in the Pentecost and 1 in the Keep.
