I prepared Garlic Basil Barramundi Skillet with Tomato Butter. Just kidding that would be far beyond my cooking abilities. I simply crumbed fillets of the fish and had it with a fresh salad, perfect. Thanks heaps for your comment. Take care!👍

What sort of rig is that mate for live bait , is the hook about a foot above the sinker on its on line so it can move around , thanks for the vid too was awesome

It is a Dropper / Paternoster rig with the hook set about 30 / 40 cm from the sinker at the bottom. Glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers!👍

Hi , just a few quick questions , firstly your new casting net seems to be working a treat , is it better than your old one, those barras certainly put up a fight and are you in danger of getting taken by a crocodile when your on an open beach like that. The new cast net is excellent but not necessarily better than the last couple of nets I have used in the videos. There is always a risk of crocodiles in the waterways and along the beaches of North Queensland. It is important not to become complacent regardless of how familiar we are with an area. Barra always put on a good show when hooked and seem to go a bit harder in shallow water. The legal minimum size in Qld to take a Barramundi is 58cm. I let a fish go that was just over the legal size as I already had a couple of good fish. Thanks heaps for your comment. Cheers!👍
