When I was a kid my mother would lock me and my siblings out of the house all day and we survived on drinking from the spigot and on whatever food our mom would leave on the back steps. We were so healthy and energetic and we got into all sorts of trouble.

Yeah, me too. If we ever got a bottle of fizzy juice, it was a treat and shared between us all. Meals three times a day and no snacks because they'd spoil our tea (dinner).

Thank you so much for this interview. Zoe's confidence shows the exhaustive measures she has taken to find where and how we have been led astray from our dietary needs and she tells it without equivocation. The food pyramid which is now MyPlate is not my plate anymore. Eat with confidence to your health.

“ fizzy drink”. Love the Brit’s, especially Dr. Harcombe, who eloquently and confidently says in this video much of what I’ve learned by watching KZbin videos and reading about low carb and carnivore.

Dave Macleod has an amazing video on his channel of a 2 month only McDonald's burger patties (just beef) diet. Not only is his health fine, he achieves some PBs as a 40+ year old professional climber during the experiment. Good andecdote for the notion that perhaps everything else in the happy meal is where the problem lies

McDonald’s burgers are not processed, they are 100% beef with no additives or preservatives. And no, I don’t work for McDonald’s.

Looks like this video was posted a year ago, but it came up on my feed as I was searching for Dr. Zoe videos for information. I am now a new subscriber to your channel. I tend to binge videos about carnivore lifestyle , which is how I found Dr. Zoe, and consequently, you ….and I was wondering if anybody would talk about the benefits of fermenting vegetables like Dr. Sean O’Mara teaches .(?) I find it really discouraging that I have not overcome, yo-yo food- addiction issues, especially when you hear one person teach one thing, and then another person say a totally different thing . We all know what the examples are . We, as people watching these videos are searching for answers, because it is up to each person to own their own health concerns and challenges, but it’s a lot like plain Russian roulette because you just don’t know which person is accurate. Any feedback or suggestions and or advice?

Thanks so much for listening, and subscribing. Definitely a challenge to sort through all the information available online these days. I think you would do great to check out my best selling book which talks a lot about yo-yo dieting and I think would be very helpful to you. It is based on clinical data and hundreds of peer reviewed articles and is written simply, and it is actionable and I think you would love it. Check out here. a.co/d/eQXnIhJ

Beef Tallow or Ghee. Avoid vegetable oils as they can oxidised while cooking. Avocado less so but it still oxidises.

Just so that I understand. Is Zoe dismissing current asociation between APOB and CVD risk ?
@mariomenezes1153 Жыл бұрын
Don't think it is dismissing, so much as saying to take another look at the big picture. After all APOB is created by the body and has been around for ever. The body is unlikely to have evolved particles that can destroy itself. Heart disease has skyrocketed in current times. Does not make sense to think that APOB suddenly went rogue and started causing plaque buildup. What are the other factors present that may be causing plaque either with or without the assistance of APOB. No simple answers here...
@stevep7791 Жыл бұрын
Cells in the human body dividing and multiplying uncontrollably and going "rogue" and then attaching themselves to a vital organ, calling itself cancer and slowly killing you doesn't make sense either! Based on that simplistic logic would she deny the existence of cancer? @@mariomenezes1153
