For real, Kyle Rittenhouse's judge was overly passive and obsessing over media coverage and perception, when the case should have been dismissed with prejudice the instant that the complaint was filed, but THIS judge, I can't, he should go back to mopping the floors.
@mr1printsАй бұрын
The original meeting was a rule broken by the judge along with the false imprisonment that followed in attempt to silence him from calling out the situation ended up turning into “unlawful restraint.” The unlawful restraint statute makes it illegal to intentionally or knowingly restrain another person without lawful authority
Whether the defendant is guilty or not, he should get a fair trial.

The judge used that as a huge distraction in hopes that people would be thrown off from the true problem. He appears to be working hand in hand with the prosecution. I hope that he knows that the message he gave to everyone applies to him as well. "The world is watching , and will remember how you handled yourself during this trial." But on second thought he's constantly showing that he doesn't care.

The Judge NEVER ADDRESSED whether the "Ex Parte" meeting was appropriate, legal or would inadvertently AFFECT Steele's client having a TRIAL BY FAIR AND IMPARTIAL jury.. He was MORE.. CONCERNED WITH "WHO" OUTTED HIM.. And not addressing the constitutional, legislative and judicial biased approach/stance this judge was taking on national TV. Unheard of. "Yep.. i broke the law too.. But tell ME, WHO told you i did.. so i can PUNISH THEM or else... IT'S YOU IN THE CAN!!!"

ground cause of action release usually takes the form of a voluntary private contract between parties to cease the obligation or concede the right. California Civil Code § 1541 upholds release provisions, stating “[a]n obligation is extinguished by a release therefrom given to the debtor or the released party by the creditor or releasing .

As someone that has completely lost all trust and confidence in the court system after 3 years and believes that judges allow themselves to be comprised and therefore justice is denied I don't feel comfortable with Ex-Parte because the hyenas live in judges chambers and we and our attorneys are not privy to those back patting sessions. The judicial review will never know. In this particular case I believe this legal mechanism was warranted and there was an expectation of privacy. We shall see if this case was always done within the laws of the state. It sounded to me like the judge was confident it would pass any legal review.

IMO, This is EXACTLY why Judges should only have LIMITED immunity from legal liability for improper actions. This Judge's conduct has been so outrageously in violation of the constitutional rights of the Defendants AND Attorney Steel that he should NOT be able to hide behind judicial immunity, but rather should be subject to suit and discipline! NO MATTER whether people believe the Defendants to be guilty or not, the trial/justice system MUST be fair, just, impartial, uncorrupted, administered with integrity -- ALL of which are SORELY lacking with this Judge and the DA's assigned to this trial! DA Fani Willis needs to REEL IN her DA's in this trial --- They are REALLY casting a negative light on the DA's office!!! #IMHO

It's not a distraction, everybody knows there was a meeting, and it was recorded so the defense knows exactly what was said in the meeting and could have gotten the information anytime they requested it. The question is was it legal to not include the defense in the meeting. I don't know, but if I were betting, my money is on the judge, and I say yes. The distraction is how did the defense attorney get the information without requesting it and the judge knowing about it, maybe that's the reason the judge was having a private meeting in the first place.
@tomons8059Ай бұрын
That was not a distraction in itself. The distraction was caused by the judge himself, when instead of sharing the minutes of the ex parte meeting, which is a must ss mandated by the Brady rule, he got more interested in knowing who leaked the ex party meeting which is irrelevant to the issue at hand.
