Yes this is so beautiful. I saw it only once when my aunt die. But I was to young to understand. This is what America is with all it faults this is what John Lewis was fighting for what this country could be. John Lewis America is the one I want our children to grow and become. Not 45 America. Rest in peace ✌️ John Lewis all your Children in the streets of America and across the world will continue the fight.

@juana washington what a terrible comment on the wake of his death... you appear very bitter...
@cherylmelina3097
@cherylmelina3097 4 жыл бұрын
@juana washington well I understand your frustration but he is just One Man. It takes a village to carry out change. He couldn't possibly fix everything without support from Congress...When your up against ppl who systematically do not want to advance a community, particularly a black one, its very hard. Recall how your Trump called Baltimore a " shit hole city". Really? Its approximately 63% black... and! Trump never rented to blacks when he was a real estate tycoon in New York... its all documented.. he tried to convict the Central Park 5... now take Mitch Mcconnell who has been in Senate a long time ( as John Lewis was) for example has sat on many issues for a loooong time, one is the anti- lynching bill,which is absurd. There are other bills waiting for Senate approval that he,the majority refuses to bring to the floor... he prevented Obama of appointing a Supreme Court justice for NO Reason other than he deeply disliked Obama.. instead, we got the Brett who i am still waiting to see how he thinks... um, hes been not a favorite of many women...while Mr.Lewis has faults as we all do, his life since he was 15 was fighting for US,ppl of color. Do you realize as a young boy in Troy AL( which was a extremely segregated, racist town) he wasn't able to obtain a library card? To think a youngster back then couldn't even check out a library book! He didn't get one until he was 58 years old.... he marched with the heavy weights ( MLK) for voting rights act civil rights act, to stop police brutality against blacks. See for yourself, you can't possibly overlook or diminish what he did for ppl of color That is HUGE,! Sadly, Trump has done zero for ppl of color. He's currently trying to reverse Obamacare . There are so many of us without healthcare and yet hes trying to destroy it,with no alternative path. Be sick with cancer and worry about your next chemo... I could go on and on yet Trump is not the man for minorities, never has been, never will. Again, Lewis got beaten, arrested many times so ppl like me( black woman) can vote,buy a home anywhere,attend schools.... I urge you to rethink your vote. Trump is not the one!

Every human being only needs recognition from God. Black people do not need white people to recognize their value and significance. God created every man equally and that is written in the bible before man wrote it in the Constitution. That's the problem with evil racists people in this country thinking they are better and superior when that is a lie straight from the pits of hell. There is only ONE SUPERIOR BEING and HE IS GOD SUPREME and ALMIGHTY! GOD IS NOT WHITE GOD IS A SPIRIT. Again, He is a Spirit and His Names are ELOHIM, JEHOVAH, YAHWEH and JESUS! ALL ARE THE SAME ONE GOD! God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit = Holy Spirit and in Truth = Jesus. Jesus said, "I AM the Way and the Truth and the Life and no one comes to the Father but by me". When Moses asked God who should I say send me and God said to Moses, "I AM THAT I AM send you". Jesus says, "I AM The Good Shepherd". The Good Shepherd lays down His Life for the sheep. Jesus said, "I AM the Light of the World". God is One God that operates in Three Persons. God the Father is only Spirit, God the Son is Jesus and Jesus is fully flesh and fully God, and God the Spirit is the Holy Spirit. In my spiritual dreams Jesus is a light caramel mixed with beige colored person and Jesus is God in flesh form. Jesus came in the flesh and again He is fully flesh and fully God. The fullness of the Deity dwells in Jesus. The Deity is God the Father God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. When you accept Jesus as your personal Savior, the Holy Spirit dwells within you and you are sealed and your name is placed in the Lamb's Book of Life. The Lamb here is Jesus because Jesus was the last and final sacrifice on the cross or tree and only Jesus died and shed His precious and Holy Blood to take away the sins of the world. Sins that Adam and Eve brought on the world by disobeying God. Without accepting Jesus, you cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. You cannot go to heaven and live with God everlasting. To reject the Son Jesus is to reject the Father God. The Bible says if you say you have the Father (God) and not the Son (Jesus) you don't have the Father and if you say you have the Son (Jesus) and not the Father (God) you don't have the Son. You can't have One without the Other. They are One and the Same. Jesus said He and the Father are ONE! God draws close to you and shows you miraculous things that you cannot even tell some people. The Word of God is foolishness to unbelievers and they think you are Koo-koo for Cocoa Pops. God does not allow His children to have an unsound mind or to have nervous breakdowns. That is not of the Father. God gives His children a sound mind and He gives His children perfect peace when our minds are stayed on Him. God shows up in all people lives who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. These people become adopted Sons and Daughters of God and Brethren to Jesus and Joint Heirs with Jesus and Jesus is the Only Beggotten Son of God the Father. Jesus said no one comes to the Father but by Him. Evil racist people will have a rude awakening when they die and stand in front of a Man of Color who is the only Savior Jesus Christ and who is fully man and fully God. Jesus died and was resurrected. Jesus flesh was raised from the dead. GOD cannot die. God is Everlasting in Existence. Jesus in flesh died but His Spirit went back to God before He died. When Jesus said "Father into Thine Hands, I commit my Spirit". Black people are in the bible. Black people have been treated with evil from slavery times thru the lynching era thru the Jim crow, segregation police killings and brutality, poor education systems, poor medical, poor housing and so much more evil done to Black people and yet they still live, move and have their being. God lets them still stand and God is the God of the oppressed. Evil Racists people will have their day in court in God's Great White Throne Judgment. The bible says it is appointed to man once to die, then the judgment. Judgment Day is coming and sooner than we know it. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when they are thrown in the Lake of Fire along with the devil, death, anti-christ, beast, fallen angels which are now demons or evil spirits and every false prophet and evil doers and human beings who rejected Jesus Christ. Also, going into the lake of fire are mistreaters of the poor, rich people who idolize their money, liars, fornicators, and so many more. There is a narrow but straight road to heaven and a wide and destruction gate to the Lake of Fire.

Turning their backs on the very people of all colors and creed fought and died for!! In order for you “as a black person” to be able to live this great nation!! As in me “ a daughter of a United States Marine! And having cousins who are half African American! That absolutely think BLM and the Kneelers are a disgrace to their race.
