When I was 10 or 11 my older brother ran out of gas in his work truck. He hitched a ride home, got me and our family 1975 Buick Electra 225. He got the gas and had ME drive the Electra back home while he followed in his truck. The thing was a BOAT (225 inches = 18 ft. 9 in. long). I didn't mind I just floored it and weaved skillfully through downtown Denver traffic back to the house. My brother later asked me "Why didn't you use your blinkers", to which I replied, "Where are they?". A different time, and amazingly despite our best efforts we kids managed to live through it. This kid's a CHAMPION in my book. He saved his Grandma's life, and I can only hope that he's treated like the HERO he is.
