A prayer of commitment saves nobody. Billy Baalam talked grace through faith but then he put conditions on it. He redefined belief as total commitment and redefined faith as obedience. Let's help Billy with the Biblical definition of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Billy said that you must repent of your sins and give your life to Christ for salvation. Those are both a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. Nobody has ever been saved by giving their life to Christ. That is bartering your life for salvation. Salvation is not a trade for anything. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance (repenting of sins/obedience)? You absolutely can't. Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. God immediately declares you justified and gives you everlasting life as a free gift. When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life! Salvation is absolutely free, instant, and eternal, recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are for temporal fellowship with God here on earth and for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another. Billy Baalam had another gospel. Let's review: What must I do to be saved? Make a commitment? Promise to follow Jesus? Surrender my will? Pick up my cross daily? Make Jesus Lord and Master of my life? Repent of my sins? Give my life to Christ? Make a public confession? Etc??? No!!!, those are works of service and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. That means to put all of your confidence (trust) in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation. I just gave you the clear gospel above because I love you and want you to go to Heaven.

It was this war that paved the way for the decree that Israel's Parliament issued on the 28th of June 1967. This is the fulfillment of Daniel's prophecy with regards to the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem. 1967-1968 was a Jubilee year which began on the 11th of April 1967 and ended on the 29th of March 1968. From 1967 we count 49 years to arrive at the year of the Messiah the prince. The 49th year started on the 9th of April 2016 and ended the following year on the 27th of March 2017. [Lev.25:8-11] The Rapture will occur only AFTER a Total Solar Eclipse and a Total Lunar Eclipse. A Total Solar Eclipse occurred on the 21st of August 2017. And a Total Lunar Eclipse occurred on the 31st of January 2018! "The sun shall be turned into darkness [21st August 2017], and the moon into blood [31st January 2018], BEFORE the coming of the Great and Awesome day [16th of March 2018] of the Lord. I would say Billy Graham was actually a deceptive teacher, putting fear in hearts where grace should have been taught. Jesus on the cross refused a mixture of vinegar and gall ( a type of poison to deaden the pain). It was a witch’s brew… Galatians folks were also reprimanded by Paul for mixing grace with the flesh (anything we do). “Oh foolish Galatians; Who has bewitched you? Having begun in the spirit, are you now being perfected in the flesh?” We can’t even begin in the flesh, let alone continue to keep our Salvation by deeds of the flesh. The person will have the whirlwind breath of God radically changing them on the inside, created a new man, a new heart that now becomes sensitive to the things of God. Born from above, born again, born first through the birth canal in water, but now born of the spirit, baptized (closely identified with) by Christ with (by means of) the Holy Spirit of God and are placed into the one body of Christ, where he is the head. A whole new walking begins for the person and they are given both a measure of faith (“granted unto you to believe on him”) and also given a change of heart/ mind (metanoia/repentance). We now have one LORD, one faith, one baptism, one God (and Father) , who is over all (as a watchful and caring Father), through all (whoa! What does he accomplish through Pharaoh and Hitler and evil people?) and IN ALL. ( never to leave us nor forsake us ever ). Wow! So many talk of God being in everything but yet religion requires something of us to allow him to come into our heart or similar idea that God hates sinners and only turns to look at us if we’ve repented or opened up the door to our hearts or confessed him or been baptized or any number of righteous deeds…

Praise God. When my own daddy died, he distinctively passed something to me thru the Holy Spirit. I tried hard to carry on but fell on hard times. I had to pray for direction daily and God gave it. God wants us to lean on Him and not our own understanding. I had to learn what God wants to teach us so we can do what is His plan. Not our own. As a child and then,an adult, and back to a child of God, I came full circle. I have learned from both my father and my Heavenly Father. How honored to know a Father God as this who has now taken care of those who took care of us. He truly loves us. Angela, please stop telling others this discouraging false notion. In Luke 23:43, Jesus says to the thief on the cross next to him: "TODAY you will be with me in paradise." Philippians 1:21-23, Paul says, "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I am to live on in the flesh, this will mean fruitful labor for me; and I do not know which to choose. But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, for that is very much better." In 2 Corinthians 5:6-8, “Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight, we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.” There is plenty of Scripture to support this and it seems as if you are just mimicking to others what you heard from someone without fact checking yourself. I'm not trying to argue and I am also open minded, because like Franklin Graham said at the end of the FAT acronym, we need to be teachable. But to this I am close-minded because of what the Bible tells us, what JESUS said, and how a loving God would not make us wait even longer after we died. God Bless.

Jesus rested in the grave and rose. Mary wanted to touch Him but He stopped her and said, you cannot touch me as I have not ascended to my father in heaven YET.......SORRY, but everyone who is dead remains in the grave until Jesus returns. If every one dies and go immediately to heaven, why would there be a second coming for Christ. His second coming would not make sense. Who would He be coming back for???????????. Billy Baalam talked grace through faith but then he put conditions on it. He redefined belief as total commitment and redefined faith as obedience. Let's help Billy with the Biblical definition of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Billy said that you must repent of your sins and give your life to Christ for salvation. Both of these are a lifetime of works and has never saved anyone or contributed in any way to salvation. Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. How can you possibly trust Christ alone for salvation when you are also trusting in your performance? You absolutely can't. Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. God immediately declares you justified and gives you everlasting life as a free gift. When you have believed on Christ alone for salvation then you have repented unto life! Salvation is absolutely free, instant, and eternal, recieved solely by trusting in the person and finished work of Christ alone, and is certainly not conditional upon service to God. Service (discipleship) if you choose it can cost you everything if you go all out in serving God. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are for temporal fellowship with God here on earth and for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the perfect life, shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel. Billy Baalam had another gospel. Let's review: What must I do to be saved? Make a commitment? Promise to follow Jesus? Surrender my will? Pick up my cross daily? Make Jesus Lord and Master of my life? Repent of my sins? Give my life to Christ? Make a public confession? Etc???? No!!!, those are works of service and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all. These are all things Billy Baalam said that you must do to have eternal life. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. That means to put all of your confidence (trust) in the person and finished work of Christ alone for salvation.

I saw the service when it was streamed live, March 2nd, 2018. I loved what every member of the family shared that day about their brother, father, and friend during the family eulogy portion of the service. The things they shared were precious, dear, and gave insight into the wonderful character of the Rev. Billy Graham. And this prophet can be the son of your slave, the son of the one you despise or the son of your enemy. This prophet can be a ten-year-old child, a fool and even a sinner in your eyes. He will be a test for you. And you, you must listen to him till the end before you draw your conclusion.
