You should do a video on how the medic also plays a role as a mentor or therapist in a sense. There were many times as an infantryman I didn’t want to go to my leadership about issues and just needed an ear and my doc was always there to help.

SGT Powell giving the Team Leader stare....ha ha :) Giving the standard boilerplate info for 11B. What you should know is be ready to be cold, wet, hungry and exhausted for long periods of time. Never happy. Cursing your unit and The Army in general. BUT.....if you like pushing yourself and wanting to learn fieldcraft, then 11B is for you. I spent 6 years in the 11B paratroopers. I hated it, and I loved it. Maybe I am a masochist. One thing that sticks with me about 11B "in the field" is PAIN. Lots of pain, everywhere. Your feet from humping. Your legs from humping. Your shoulders from carrying huge rucks. Your hips from jumping (airborne landings). Great place to BE FROM.

What are the norms of physical training for service in the ranks of 11b? This is very interesting! How else is the infantry provided, let's say, in difficult conditions (meteo, remoteness from headquarters)? And is there a difference between providing infantry in peacetime and in war? Do you plan to serve in the ranks of the army? if so, is it possible to choose exactly where this trip will take place?

tbf, that $40,000 is for a 6 year contract and after taxes it's going to be closer to $30,000. You're essentially getting an additional $5,000 per year. Which never hurts but...

It's not in effect for most contracts until October. It's actually 21 weeks and some amount of days. That's what i was told.
