It's 16.5 inches long. That's elongated. Elongated is based off the total length of the paddle. Not the shape of the paddle.

Just got this and the Selkirk Kevlar. This paddle is much better than the Kevlar Selkirk... Better control, better power, bigger sweet spot. Thanks rkr for the review... I love this paddle!

Yikes! That's a really hard choice. Tbh I'd probably use the shapeshifter due to the fact that I don't really utilize 2 hand backhands any. I don't see anyone being upset with either.

I bought this Kevlar paddle on your recommendation and used your code (thank you). However, on using it today I was very disappointed. Many mishits if I didn't hit it in the center, not great control, not plush feeling. Bad on dinking and resets. No power and only moderate spin. Any suggestions to improve it, maybe with lead tape? I usually use Ronbus paddles. The Pulsar R1, the Nova R1, and now the Pulsar FX R2. This comes nowhere near those paddles, especially after I added lead tape. Tried an Engage Pro today and really liked that. I'm feeling I made a mistake on the Hurache?

Hmm. The hurache kevlar is plush but the kevlar makes it feel completely different than raw carbon fiber which is what all of the Ronbus paddles are. It sounds like you aren't a kevlar person. Some people just don't like the feel compared to pure raw carbon fiber paddles. I'm so sorry you're not liking it!

Ya it's sooo powerful. I've been bouncing between the flash oni and the joola Scorpius gen 3 and the Vatic feels so much better all around. Using indoor balls is definitely rough with the oni. Experienced that this morning 😂

Ya I love the fact that some companies aren't jumping into the race for more power. Ultimately it's not going to be good for the game when everyone is afraid to speed the ball up due to power paddles being able to counter it down your throat 😂

Ya, I have heard the 14mm plays better and is more aggressive at the net which is a plus. I wonder how much the SW will differ from the 16mm. It's already got a ridiculous low SW for a 16mm elongated paddle. Imma have to annoy them about sending me one 😂

@@robertnowak13 that’s good news. I ordered the 14mm this week but it won’t come in until Monday sadly. I tried the six zero DBD in 14mm and thought it was support to the 16mm. I am seeing hearing that the plush controlled gen 2 paddles get a nice boost at the net without sacrificing the power on drives. Looking at the DBD 16/14 power and pop stats on John Kews database confirms that haha
