1:03 Bringing hot water to birth pool. 2:06 Freeze pops to cool down. 2:13 Head and jaw massage. 2:49 Getting in the birth pool. 3:59 Playing with hair and pouring hot water on back. 4:25 Big sister gets her turn in the pool. 5:08 Favorite part of labor - leaning back in pool. 6:03 The sounds of birth - vocalizing during contraction. 7:00 Sending children to bed. 7:40 Back out of the birth pool for a change of pace. 8:30 Progress report - pushing on hips during surges. 8:51 Nap time in the pool 9:30 On hands and knees in the pool, getting active. 11:44 Transition - this is impossible! 11:58 Double contraction / double peak catches dad off guard. 12:55 Emergency juice ASAP - need energy! 13:58 Random position change is random - semi supine. 14:05 Final pushes begin, with all-powerful sounds of creation. 14:40 "Baby's head is out!" but dad doesn't see a thing. 15:39 Baby is fully out, picked up and put on mommy. 16:01 Baby girl's first cry. "It's cold out here!" - covering with towel. 16:45 Sisters learn they have one more member on The Girl's Team and rejoice! 17:55 First attempt at nursing. 19:12 Waking up other siblings. 20:20 Getting out of the birth pool and more nursing. 20:35 Brothers and sisters react. 20:52 More nursing. 21:30 Umbilical cord cutting by the little ones - Wisdom and Patricia. 21:54 Photo wrap-up.

Labour sucks. But what comes out of it is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Women did this hundreds of years ago without the existence of pain killers, birthing tubs or hypnotic tapes. Yes , its beautiful, but remember, it still hurts, its still exhausting . I saw your body react and push the baby out. Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ Just beautiful ❤️❤️, and only true women can go through this. God bless you for sharing this intimate time with the world❤❤❤❤

Loved this!!! Seeing all your beautiful children come in to greet the newest family member was so heartwarming and I could help but think of this passage of scripture and I absolutely adore the names you’ve given your children! Psalms 127:3-5 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. 4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. 5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them.

Hello! Have you had unassisted births before? How do you know if your bleeding after is too much? I want to have another unassisted birth
@NanayAnay
@NanayAnay Жыл бұрын
I had 11 homebirths total and this is my 10th unassisted. The first one, I had a midwife, an assistant midwife and a doula and I discovered one thing about myself. I am a private person and I told my husband that for future births, I would very much prefer to do it on our own. With the bleeding, I usually prepare in advance to prevent severe bleeding. I do drink the polly jean block antenatal supplements to prevent severe bleeding. I am also very particular about my protein intake. I try to have a good and balanced diet all throughout the pregnancy to prevent any undesirable circumstances like severe bleeding.

@@reflectionsinthebible3579 huh? I have already done this. I'm not doing this because anyone else did this. Birth is normal and safe if you're not high risk. Read your Bible
@xxxAlmixxx
@xxxAlmixxx Жыл бұрын
@@reflectionsinthebible3579 Birth is as safe as living. Statistically, you're more likely to die from something else (such as a car accident). People who give birth unassisted aren't idiots who are doing it because "it's the cool thing to do." That is laughable. Most who go this route do it because they know themselves and understand birth. What is dangerous in labor: complications. Easy, precipitous births happen when they're unassisted. Prolonged labors and complications happen in the hospital with women who are detached and don't want to own their birth. They tend to not happen to people who give birth unassisted for a myriad of reasons. Privacy + peace + a healthy mind and body = a quick labor and an easy birth = the healthiest birth possible. Giving birth unassisted simplifies the equation and makes having a healthy and fulfilling birth easy to attain. Giving birth in the hospital creates more problems than it solves. Let's ignore for a second that there is no peace, comfort, and privacy in a hospital birth - it's stressful. Almost everyone gets drugs during labor. Labor drugs lead to prolonged labors, complications for the mother, fetal distress, and unsafe, barbaric practices such as trying to force the baby out - suction cup, forceps, pushing on mom, cutting mom, c-section, etc. If you're set on helping someone, please go out and tell the world that epidurals can cause your baby to be born not breathing. This is not a normal thing that happens, it's something that happens during hospital births, something hospitals have perpetuated and then blamed on labor and birth itself to keep everyone afraid and coming back to the hospital to give birth. More $$$$$$$ for them!

I am not worried about having kids after 40. I usually try to live a healthy lifestyle. I know of some friends who give birth in their 20s, yet they had so much complications. So for me, it is not really about the age. But it is more on how you live your life.

The point is to have the quickest and healthiest birth possible. Taking away the pain causes problems. Epidurals are especially dangerous. A healthy, peaceful, unmedicated birth is most definitely beautiful. Baby born not breathing after mom got an epidural? Not so much.

So far my postpartum is doing okay. But there are days and nights that I am feeling so overwhelmed. But my husband and children are very much hands on in helping me take each day as calm as possible. I do not respond well to stressful situations. So they really do their best to keep my surroundings at peace. 😍 My older children keep me well fed so I can nurse the baby. The children take turn with the chores while I was recovering. I am glad to know that you desire to have many children. I praise the Lord God for blessing my womb bountifully.

So you all didn’t know the gender before so did you get any prenatal care? Why about after? Did you have anyone medically trained to check on the baby (and yourself)? This was so irresponsible/risky.
@xxxAlmixxx
@xxxAlmixxx Жыл бұрын
Being alive is irresponsible and risky. Some people don't want to be watched or interfered with during reproduction. Weird, God designed most creatures that way. Want to know what is more risky than allowing birth to unfold by itself? Forcing labor. Labor drugs. Labor procedures. EPIDURALS. Stressing out laboring mothers. Putting fear into laboring mothers. Also, epidurals. And did I mention epidurals? If you want your baby to be at a high risk of needing resuscitation at birth, get an epidural! OH, but that's okay if it's more risky than birth itself. You're allowed to have this selfish thing because there are doctors and nurses there to save you and your baby when things go wrong because of your choice to not want to feel your baby be born. If women have the free choice to put their baby's life in danger because they don't want to feel pain, then I have the free choice to have a healthy and easy birth in the privacy of my own home. And if you can't see how giving birth unassisted is inherently safer than giving birth with an epidural, then ask a labor and delivery nurse why they MUST monitor you and the baby and why you sign release forms when you get an epidural. They can tell you themselves what the risks are.

Unassisted????!!!! No trained professionals (midwives???)???? Why try to influence women in such a dangerous way??? This is not being a good influencer.
@xxxAlmixxx
@xxxAlmixxx Жыл бұрын
You must be a person who has low self-confidence, and if you take that much stock in "trained professionals" (which nearly anyone can become if they jump through the hoops), then there's a good chance you may be low intelligence as well. All birth professionals are trained with knowledge that is free for anyone to obtain. Not obtaining this knowledge before having a baby is lazy and irresponsible. Not taking control of your birth, as the birthing woman, is irresponsible. People don't go to the hospital to give birth because birth is dangerous, they go there because it hurts and they want their labor drugs. They go there to literally hand the responsibility of giving birth over to someone they barely know. The same happens when you hire a midwife - not to worry, you're no longer responsible, now the midwife is, so you no longer have to own your birth. Doing that is dangerous. Anyone who truly cares what happens to them and their baby when it's born gives birth unmedicated, and often at home, and often unassisted. These people don't want to be medicated (or watched) because they KNOW it can cause problems and they really want to obtain a healthy birth. And why do they share it with the world? Because this type of birth is so wholesome and beautiful, and they want the world to know that it's worth it. There is a lot that can be learned from people who give birth unassisted. I suggest you learn to respect these people.

Relaxation is the key. I try to take one contraction at a time. And if the contraction gets more intense, I just always remind myself that I am close to seeing my baby. Surround yourself with people that you love and those who love you too. You need that oxytocin (hormones of love) to keep going.
