I saw him briefly the other day, I went in the morning when they let Bella out so I mostly saw her, but I thought it was funny that, before they let Brutus out, they hid coffee grounds around the play area, the first thing he did when he came out was find the coffee, eat some and rub the rest all over his face and head.

He doesn't know the fence isnt dangerous or can cause pain. He's been raised to associate the fence with shock. I mean yea, If he got so angry or upset that he didnt care if it shocked him, theyd all be in real trouble.

For those of you who are worried by the fences feeble looks, don't worry that flimsy looking material is actually titanium. There is absolutely no way this bear can get at you, if it wanted to. As for the fences height, no worries. The bears is to fat to get over it. Knowing all of this, get as close to it as you can.

What a bastard of people, the poor bear is terrorized and stressed is clearly seen. And the way he gives him to eat and especially because they sit with the beat in their hands what it takes what it means that the bear is beaten

Thank you for your comment. I have known these people for years and frequently seen them in action with this bear and others. I can assure you that none of them have ever been beaten or mistreated in any way. These people specialize in rescuing bears from those kinds of situations (all of their bears are rescues--no breeding). I would not support them if I thought that there was any mistreatment involved.
