😮😭 l have empathy for this community and all the communities affected. I was in Chimney before Helene. It was beautiful. 😢 I survived Hurricane Camille and Katrina in Gulfport Mississippi. It will take time to rebuild.

So much has already been done, its admirable. The downtown is already getting new supports and wall coverings on the buildings. Hopefully they can save a lot of what made it out.

The entire WNC took a beating that day but the further south you went the worse it became. So much debris from landslides and flooding. It seemed to all head straight for Chimeny Rock and Lake Lure. It still bad up here in Avery County. Lots of building to do here also. This will take years not months.

Biden already has thrown paper towels. Paltry financial help for the area compared to millions he stole for Ukraine right after he declared the area a disaster. Biden's been a debacle since day one. Can't wait for January 20, 2025.
