Nice outing, glad the river fish are feeding. The price of stripe bass is $10 to $ 12 LB depending on which store you get from, they are only farm raised too. Those stores cannot sell the ones at the lake that we catch. To teach somone how to fish is priceless. People can get creative with stripe bass, plus it freezes well too. Greek style grilling, saute skin down, blackened, deep fry, Larb, soup, what ever your pallet is. My gear for catching them is not budget either, my cast net alone is $200 to get bait and 4k electronics. Fishing is not cheap. I am leaving out the license, two states, yearly ramp passes, COE yearly ramp pass, travel expenses but I love fishing. LOL! Merry Christmas! I hope you guys keep uploading these trips for next year.

I have a question for you. When is the best time to catch high tide or low tide or tide coming in?
@sakhomfishingadventures258424 күн бұрын
Sorry I don’t know, as you can see we just catch it by luck. Sometimes good on incoming tide and sometimes good on outgoing tide.

It's definitely not worth buying that bait! Just catch your own. Look around until you find some pumps or pipes with rock. Drop red worms with small hooks between the cracks in the rocks. I catch tons of mudsuckers and bull heads year round on the napa. Low tide is best. The white slough area is loaded with them. You guys sound familiar. I think we may have fished together years ago out in the sloughs.

Thanks for the info. And maybe we have met before cause we out fishing almost everywhere lol.Lately it’s hard to fishing for mud sucker in the rocks holes, that’s why we buy it.

@@sakhomfishingadventures2584 was fishing in a spot next to the skatepark at Kennedy and had a salmon jump like 4 feet away from shore. Some other guy on KZbin was fishing under the 29 bridge and got salmon jumping close to the shore too
