Is it mating season for them again already?

It was this same time last year (late December) that they started mating for their first clutch, with the first egg (of seven) laid in early Feb. They then produced a second clutch (of five) in June. It will be interesting to see how things go for them this year.

@ I thought they just had back to back clutches this summer? Wouldn’t this be their fourth clutch?

Yes, they’ve been busy; this will be their third clutch (#1 was Feb-May, #2 was Jun-Sep)
