This is easily the greatest winning drive across any level in football. So much determination by my Spartans. And so much respect for Iowa.

LJ Scott should've gotten MVP. Just my honest opinion, from a Husker fan...
@Skeletor505888 жыл бұрын
+huskerfaninNJ I thought MSU D-end should have gotten it. I think his name was Calhoun, he was all over the Iowa Offense. Calhoun pressured Beathard a lot, and had 2 sacks.

Vince Hawk That would've been a good choice, too. Shilique Calhoun is a beast.

I’ve watched this multiple times, but for some reason I’m just realizing that it’s George and not the TV commentary. And for that, it makes or even better. Nothin better than hearing George on a Saturday afternoon or in this case an evening

I listened to this game in the radio while at a church camp in Oklahoma City with my buddies. We all crowded around and listened in in our room. When the radio announcer said, “he’s stopped at the 2! No wait, he twists - Touchdown!” We all got up and cheered and we marched around the whole camp playing the MSU fight song on our boom box. It was like we were back in the 1960’s. Listening to the game on the radio, a 9 minute, 22 play drive to win the conference championship, 16-13, and marching around church camp with a fight song playing, but instead it was in late 2015, Hahahaha that was a masterpiece. Made a lot of friends and a lot of memories, that’s why I love MSU

+Jack Sznewajs Some of us think Gus Johnson is more than we care to stomach. Personally, I switched to radio pbp with Blaha, even though there were delay issues such that I knew what was coming before it appeared on screen.

Wow. How do you Sparty fans stomach this non exuberant, monotone Blaha guy calling the action? Don't believe you can call it "action" listening to him call a football game. He makes a mockery of the word. Sounds like I am listening to someone call the "action" during a game of chess. Maybe he should be named the permanent "action" caller for women's softball, and let the buck stop there. Die hard Clemson fan here, so as a fan of a fellow playoff-bound program, I am very happy and congratulatory for you guys for playing Championship-style ball, and am terribly sorry if I am offending anyone or their opinions/passions. However.. GOOD GRIEF.
@andrewbahorski66848 жыл бұрын
+Hootizl Blasphemy against George Blaha. While I don't disagree completely, that man is also the voice of the Detroit Pistons through the Bad Boys, and the Team of Teams in 2004, so you will find few harsh critics of the great, George Blaha.
@Hootizl8 жыл бұрын
And if the Pistons win a big game on a buzzer-beater 3 pointer, does his decibel level & the pitch of the tone of his voice remain just as constant as when the game began?
