@101perspective

Seems very expensive to me. Don't get me wrong, it's probably not THAT expensive for the technology going into it. However, you not only don't need that amount of technology but it probably would be more useful if you reduced the tech. Just think about it. When you turn your head you would no longer be looking at the laptop. So, the only way that part works is if you either have multiple screens or you set up one of these devices for each person you are speaking to. Which means $1k a pop... PLUS you now need a laptop/interface for every person at the table. PLUS, this would only make any sense to use if it is a few remove people talking to a table full of people. Because if everyone is remote then you wouldn't be looking around anyway. Anyway, the current setup would actually end up costing you TONS more than $1k. However, to avoid all of this you could just control the head display via your mouse or keyboard arrow keys. Then you are looking at the screen the entire time and it is actually the view that changes. You take the tracking feature out though and the cost of this thing drops down to probably $100 to $200.

Is their camera on a ring mount that can swivel to the position of the person the 'user' is supposed to be facing now? How can it track a nod without being able to go up and down in space 16" in front of the nodder's face? The only way to keep the user's eyes in that top center screen is for the receiving camera to move all over the room because every head movement will break line of vision.

Please do not confuse Lego and Meccano (sold under the brand name Erector in the US). They are obviously completely different.

"WeHead" LOL! That looks even more silly than its name. I'd have a hard time keeping a straight face and not laughing if I saw this in a meeting. Also, if one is only looking at a monitor, one's head wouldn't be moving much, would it? So then what's the use?

Ya wanna know how to solve a lot of the homeless problems? Develop a parallel economy in governments to rival the banks, and run all government agencies on a debit system that doesn’t rely on taxation as a form of instant credit. And turn the IRS back into just bookkeepers.

Skipped the parts about destroying the ocean and filling it with unmanageable waste to collect tiny amounts of energy and store it in batteries that are created by slave labor strip mining poor countries.

🤣 Typical mispronunciation by non-Americans (who correctly use standard Oxford English) when he meant "boo-ee" buoy. Like when they say aluminium (adding an extra "i") instead of aluminum.

@@TimothyEastman We all know what he said and so does he. I understand there's a mispronunciation bcuz of region, but the fact that he knows how it sounds yet still mispronounces it is disturbing

What happens when this field of wave-riding buoys gets hit by a cyclone or even just rogue waves! Was the estimate of power generated stated as a daily amount or weekly, monthly, or yearly!
@r.lasker5148
@r.lasker5148 Жыл бұрын
@@rogerjensen5277 What "happens" most likely results depending on a number of factors (length/elasticity of "anchoring cables," safety protocols in place, strength of winds/size of waves, etc.). My guess is that virtually any size/strength of wave could be managed/accommodated, provided buoys were placed in deep enough water (the destructive power of any ocean wave - including the strongest tsunami - is multiplied as it reaches shallow water).

They left out drug addiction, alcoholism, and mental illness as a large factor the rise in the homeless population. As usual. Pretending it isn't a problem is not going to make it go away.
