Am having heart pain, full body pain, joint pain, brain fog, forgetfulness,, fatigue, anxiety,panic attacks, stress,neck pain, shoulder pain etc... I mean come on! I am 44. On top of all these am taking BP meds 🙄 All these and more is caused by perimenopause????Now I hear it can last up to decades!!! I can hardly function right now! My only relief is that, millions of women like myself are going through these same symptoms. Indeed like you said, people don't really know what we women go through. I love you all.

I'm 66 and have had most of these pains. I was actually rubbing my "frozen shoulder" when she was in the video! LOL. Started taking magnesium, cause most people are low in their systems. Our body doesn't make magnesium. I drink nothing but spring water, and no caffeine organic green tea, mixed with chamomile tea. Cutting out sugar does help lower inflammation. But the worse thing for women is stress, that effects so much in a women's body and mind. Be well everyone, on this crazy journey, and accept yourself for who you are, put yourself first, no one else will do it for you. Be kind to yourself!

You mentioned foot pain, which I had every morning when I got up to stand. My feet felt like they were broken, hurt so bad. But my podiatrist made custom orthotics for me, he wrapped wet plaster strips around my feet and let it dry, then slowly removed them and sent them out to be made into insoles. This maintains my foot position and has helped me be pain free now. I put them in all my shoes and don’t walk around without them, it’s one problem solved . 😊

I used to take it when I was younger for breast pain before my periods. Make sure you buy good quality evening primrose oil. For me it was the headaches. Started in 2020. I thought it was covid stress. That fall the hot flashes started. Then I realized what was going on! It's great to have informative videos like this. I feel like when it comes to menopause, women are just floating in the middle of a vast ocean in a dingy!

Thank you for all the advice. I feel like I'm being tortured! I thought it was my fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, bulging discs, degenerative discs, spinal stenosis, si joints worn down and right foot plantar fasciitis, pinched nerve in ankle and osteo arthritis. Well, perimenopause and menopause probably make it worse, now that I seen your video. I have headaches everyday and migraines for 3 weeks straight. Your cat is so cute and pretty in the background. I have a cat too which helps with my depression. Yes, I forgot to say I forget things, brain fog, run into things and bruises all over. Everything you mentioned in your videos. I had to change Doctors because I could tell the one didn't believe me have the time. I broke my right foot also ( I don't know how probably weak bones)and for 3 months I just thought it was my osteoarthritis so I got a steroid shot which didn't help. This is CRAZY that we women have to go through this and for so long!! I am 53 and I'm going to get another test to see if I'm menopausal. The last test I did last year or 2 yrs ago said I wasn't. Have you ever had a test like that done? Okay sorry so long, first time commenting. I wish us all healing.

7 years in for me. Yeah I figured the hot flashes would subside eventually. Sigh they only got worse. Plus, the foot pain, shoddy peripheral vision, poor sleep, vision loss, and a host of other symptoms you have mentioned in your other videos. The worst one is the V atrophy. Couldn't get any great advice from my Drs. Don't really know what to do about it. Brings me to tears. I appreciate your video's though. New subscriber here.

This is an invaluable video! And for me, this all began in my late 30s. Doctors treated the symptoms, not the root cause - loss of Estrogen. So much pain and stiffness. Decades of misery and loss of self esteem, not knowing about the cause of my brain fog. Teach all young women early so that they know what's happening and can take HRT to prevent suffering.
@northwestpacific Жыл бұрын
I can’t believe I’m pretty much in menopause but was definitely dealing with ALL of this in the last decade or more! In particular, the widespread body pain! With an auto immune illness, my entire life, I kept thinking, I was definitely going to get diagnosed with MS or something… Turns out everything was inconclusive. Every time I went to the doctor… Your videos have been a real eye-opener. Basically no estrogen equals we might as well end it! So why aren’t we all getting supplemented with the proper amounts of it or something to take its place when all of this starts!?? Why is there just so little information except for the last year or so about HRT etc.? Even now working with a naturopath has been a clunky process to get estrogen replacement along with progesterone and the proper amounts, but humorously enough out of all of the agonizing symptoms the one symptom that got me the most upset was the hot flashes. I absolutely could not handle them and ultimately that is what ended me up on HRT which did stop those symptoms but that was three months ago and I’m still wondering about the body pain… I still have it pretty good but that comment about the feet hurting so bad it was like walking on marbles that definitely was going on with me and has gone away… I also had a raging case of tennis elbow, which I ended up getting a PRP shot for a year later it finally did go away..agonizing. All I can say is, I am praying that science gets better because living like this is no picnic!

@@retta1960 yeah, I actually have noticed that, no one, likes to hear anything about it, as soon as you blurt out the word, menopause, it is offensive ?? I mean come on, the menopause, is happening to me, and someone's uncomfortable, with the wording statement, it is natural unfortunately to have to go through it, and it's werse than I thought it was going to be, but, people shouldn't be unhappy about someone talking about this, it isn't the end of the world, or a swear word, and as for the lack of handy help for menopause stuff, I was really left in the dark on this, until coming across the blog clips from this ladys comical stuff she's put out, for suffers of menopause, it's making lite, of a hugely unfun time in your life, so you can relate and understand, and cope with it, Evan comment to other's going through it too, a healing process

There are some good things about menopause: no more PMS, cramps, pimples, bloating, or messy periods that stain sheets and clothes; and no longer giving a d@mn what anyone thinks. I have had to stay on HRT even though I'm at risk for breast cancer bc terrible hot flashes, lack of motivation, and brain fog were making me depressed and I'm already on anti-depressants.
