12 days 11 night hike to Madwe mountain in Putao, Kachin state, Myanmar

From 7th to 18th Dec 2011 we hiked from Putao to Madwe mountains reaching the snow at about 4000 meters. Due to rains, snow falls and lack of proper gear and food we turn back.
I and three Rawan villagers made it to about 4000 meters elevation. We camped in tropical rain forest and alpine landscape.

I did some low altitude trekking and sport fishing there few years ago. It was beautiful but challenging.
