JiU is amazing - sunny and bright but also sensitive. She loves Somnias more than anything in the world (except maybe her members) - when Dreamcatcher debuted and they had early fan meetings with just a few fans there, she still broke down in tears because she was so happy that anyone came to see them. She has said many times that when she is feeling down or unhappy she will open up vLive and talk to Somnias and it instantly makes her happy. "Dear" was written by her as a love letter to Insomnia. She also loves her members - when she was selected by them to be leader again in Dreamcatcher, it meant the world to her knowing they trusted her and didn't blame her at all for MINX's failure. I absolutely believe that fifty years from now old-lady Minji will still be meeting up all the time with old-ladies Bora and Siyeon and Yoohyeon - all of them are going to be best friends for life…

JiU is currently 26 (27 by Korean counting); she was born on 17th May 1994. 🙂 And while you're unlikely to see many DC videos where _someone_ isn't eating, it's JiU who eats the _most_ - when she turns out her bag, there will _always_ be snacks in it. But by contrast, she's also an almost literal gym bunny. She's more hench than she looks at first glance, and one of her nicknames is "Vein Goddess", because of how the veins on her hands stand out when she's been exercising...

When they were Minx- JiU and SuA were 20, Siyeon was 19,Yoohyeon and Dami were 17. So you have 3 teenagers and two members just barely 20. When DreamCatcher debuted, JiU and SuA were 23, Siyeon was 22, Handong was 21, Yoohyeon and Dami were 20 and out makane- Gahyeon was 18. I think I remember watching a recent show. where SuA said that she trained the longest at 5 years, then JiU and Siyeon for 2 and a half years, Yoohyeon and Sami were a year and a half while Handong and Gahyeon were the shortest at 6 months. I love Insomnicsy’s stuff. Jiu- leader, mom, but also kid and fake makane. Yoohyeon is the tallest (barely) while Gahyeon is the shortest. Yoohyeon : 5’6”/168cm hence why she is big doggie and also tree.. Jiu/Minji: 5’6”/167cm Siyeon: 5’5”/166cm Handong/Han Dong: 5’5”/165cm Dami/Yubin: 5’4”/163cm SuA/Bora: 5’3 3/4”/ 162cm Gahyeon: 5’3”/160cm

DC is only the second group whose music I like the entire library. I am not a young guy and have standards, ya know? Lol. The only other is the Moody Blues (Nights in White Satin.) But, DC is number one because they do two things. First, they love what they do and genuinely like each other. That is huge and it shows off and on stage. The second is they can sing, dance, and act. Doing a twist on the kpop standard. All their main releases have a strong rock style. Not even Day6 does that. DC HASNT moved away from it in 4 years. Strong show of character.
