I once had my birthday twice in one year too on August 11 2010. I had my first international flight from Korea to NYC. The departure from seoul was around 5pm on the 10th of august which is around 4am on the 10th of august, NYC time. I had my birthday on the plane later midnight. At the same time, NYC was around 11am on the 10th of august. When I arrived at NYC after 16hours of flight, it was around 8pm on the 10th of August which gave me 4 hours of counting down to my second birthday for the year. Lol. I spent 9 hours of my birthday on a plane enroute to NYC and another 24 hours on my second day in NYC. Haha Tldr: I was able to have my birthday twice on my first international flight. Lol

Something that wasn't included in the video but that kind of struck me was this: I believe that many of us think of the American Old West as being a long time ago. I also think that the perception of the era of the most famous gangsters and bank robbers is that it was much more recent. However, Wyatt Earp died at the age of 80 in 1926 - when Clyde Barrow (of Bonnie and Clyde fame) was 19 (Barrow turned 20 just a little over two months after Earp's death.) Further, Earp is said to have been an unpaid consultant on some of the early silent Western films. Further, Earp knew John Ford (director of such films as The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and other movies starring John Wayne), was friends with Jack London and met Charlie Chaplin.

At 5:50. The plane that took off from Auckland at 12:05am. Here is another twist. Lets magine a women on the plane that just took off from Auckland gave birth on the plane at 12:20am. which was Jan 1st 2018. A doctor on board recorded the birth and the pilot even reported it to Auckland airport saying all is fine we are continuing. Unfortunately upon arriving in Honolulu the baby died in a car accident at 1pm on the 31 December 2017. So on his death certificate and head stone it would read Born Jan 1st 2018. Died December 31st 2017. Now that would be confusing for anyone who read it.

Funnily enough, the American-focussed stuff didn't change my perception about time. There's a pub in my town that's been around since before the discovery of the entire continent. And it's a pretty decent pub.

wait what
@ShiftyMcGoggles6 жыл бұрын
America was discovered by Columbus in 1492. The pub has been there since the 1480's, and the main framework of said pub hasn't had to be replaced since it was initially built. Assuming 1492 is the 'start' of the USA , it's barely past 500 years old. Also, I'm from Britain. We've been around as an independent nation since the Romans left around 400AD. So, 1618 years ago.

Every moment that we experience makes time move faster from our perspective. An hour to a month-year old is way more than an hour to a 90 year old. If you're playing a new game, or a new experience in the game, you are like that 1 month old, time is slower because you are absorbing the important information.
Here's one you came close to but missed: The entire existence of James Bond the spy, from the drafting of the original novel written by Ian Fleming in his Bahama Goldeneye home (using a name culled from the cover of a book about birds he had lying around on his coffee table for his spy, a "dull and forgettable" name), clear to the latest Bond movie as of yet, has all been under the Reign of Queen Elizabeth II. #4 really makes you think how much time and money has been wasted on presidential elections. #6 is definitely a cool fact and nobody would assume John Tyler would still have living grandchildren. The men waiting to have children when they're old and about to die instead of taking care of them really allows the grandkids to say, "my grandfather was the 10th president, born in the 1700's". Of course, people will think they have become senile because they are old but surprisingly fertile.

None of the Cleopatra images or video have anything to do with Cleopatra... The bust is Nefertiti and the gold painted woman is an invented character named Anck Su Namun, probably based on Nefertiti's daughter Ankhesenpaaten, who changed her name to Ankhesenamun after the death of her father Akhenaten, the firsts monotheistic Pharoah who worshipped only the sun God Aten (visible in all their names) Once he dies, she and her half brother Tutankhaten both changed their names to reflect worship and respect to the old sun God Amon Ra, thus Tutankhamun means "Living Image of Amun" That's a long winded way to say you used bad visuals for Nefertiti. Plus, Cleopatra was Greek, not Egyptian. Try the classic Liz Taylor as Cleopatra.
