I think red and still be used in fresh, modern combinations like red, orange and burgundy. Deep red with a light oral or red and chocolate brown can be fresh, especially in accessories. Red with toffee and caramel colors were popular the last two years and I plan to get a little more mileage out of those combos. Red also works in the context of a collegiate or preppy vibe. And I am a fan of light pinks with yellow-greens as a fresh sweet and sour effect. In general, accessories feel like a more integrated part of an outfit. Yes, belting overlapped oversized blazers was popular last year and I do like it for this year too. Overlapping cardigans, vests and dusters was popular too. The garment has to be large enough to overlap and the fabric has to be soft enough to gather and drape without looking stiff and boxy. I loved your explanation of how western is morphing. Well done. And I like your presentation style, particularly how you get to the point quickly. It makes me feel like watching is a good use of my time. ❤

As with most fashion trends, it always looks great on a tall, thin model, not me!

Hi. I will say I agree with you on Burgundy being a big color this fall but ........ keeping your beige pants, skirts and sweaters are still very much in. It is used all year round for a staple in a wardrobe. Blend with browns, burgundy, taupe, dark green are favorable. The color pop is burgundy. Neutrals fall into the category of classics as staple and gives a very polished look. I hope you can change your thoughts on dismissing neutrals. As always your channel is always on my list to watch. Your content is never boring.🙂

Flannel shirt jackets will never go out of style, they are timeless. Suede in my opinion, is cheap and too trendy ( my opinion only ) but, I will agree on this, the chocolate brown colors coming out this Fall is very pretty. Your post is still very good and I am following you now. But, I just had to defend the shirts. It’s a life style thing too. 👍🏻

It's always fun to find out what's in style, not that I always am. I lv plaid flannel & have always worn kitten heels. Lv this kind of video & it's interesting to hear everyone's views. Thku😊

I love suede but living in the UK our weather can be on the rainy side and unfortunately suede and dampness don't really mix. Chocolate brown is one of my favourite fall colours I tend to gravitate towards dark rich browns in favour of black as black in a bit harsh for my colouring.

I wish I found your channel earlier! I love that you partner with ThredUp to help people that have tight clothing budgets and/or want to conscious about overall consumption. One question, since ThredUp doesn’t accept returns for refunds, and especially with the long wide leg slacks, how do you ensure the hemline falls in a good place? I mean, I LOVE the look you highlighted with the kitten heels that were hidden by the high-waisted long wide leg pant that just barely avoided sweeping the floor, but a quarter inch longer and I’d be afraid of tripping over them.

I love my black embroidered western boots and always get a lot of compliments when I wear them. I don't give 2 poops about "trends." 😆

Oversized blazers should never have been in style.

Oh, I agree with you completely, never understood why women would make themselves look so much bigger! I never had one.

I love pastels and I wear them all year long. Purple is my power color and I've honestly never liked browns or reds- save for different holiday color palettes like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I had to go to Tallahassee, today to a doctor appointment. After the appointment, we went shopping. We was in one store and there was Shackets. One of the Ladies, looking at them asked how did they get the name Shacket?! One of the other Ladies, looked at her and said have you ever heard of Shea Whitney? I without realizing it..said yes. A few of the Ladies purchased them and one of them said watch. Now that we got some she'll say that they are out of style...now. Glad I didn't get one. It's to hot here for me. An I an giggling at their statement from earlier. Those black buckle boots are awful looking. Thanks for the sharing and may you have a Blessed day.
