Awesome guys! Love the slug work guys! I’m sure with enough work on combinations something will make them tighten up a bit better!

I wanted to let you know about excellent base wad with using 1/2” thick piece of 3/4” dowel rod screwed to base of solid base slugs. Obviously the must be cut off 90 degrees both ends nicely and center drilled. I lightly sand and wax them. I’m experimenting and using them on your 16mm socket slugs and am about to test them here in a week or two for accuracy. I’ve shot with 33 gr Blue Dot . Total 742 gr. In Fiocchi 2.75” hull. CB1138-12 wad with petals removed. Over powder card. Roll crimped. They shoot great so far and do not tumble etc… rifled barrel. I powder coated slugs also.

great test..... can you do some with long shot?
@theshotgunscientists Жыл бұрын
You can yeah but we don’t have any more of those. 28 grains would be what I would use. Blue dot just gets high fps and lower pressure with the heavy slugs.

@@bryantb3391 You can shoot these out of either. We have a smoothbore version coming out probably tomorrow
