I didn't buy a Switch for BotW. I didn't buy a Switch for Mario Odyssey. I bought a Switch for Fire Emblem and SMT5. I will say I've been enjoying Disgeae 5 to get my Tactical RPG fix, but if you care about story D5 is a very silly story packed to the brim with anime tropes.

The info about Nelke is incorrect! Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings is the first game in the series on the Switch, and has a great collector's edition! Unfortunately its the third and final installment of a specific story, so there's some reading to do beforehand (unless you have a PS4, then you can play the previous two), but I've enjoyed what I've played of the game so far. Nelke is definitely an RPG, it's just that the protagonist isn't an alchemist, so all of your time will be spent on the town and helping the alchemists from previous games that show up level up and complete quests, sort of like a more involved Rune Factory meets Animal Crossing: New Leaf kind of thing. Hope this helps

Lydie and Suelle is the Third game under the MYSTERIOUS ARC with Atelier Sophie in the first game and Atelier Fris in the second game.

Tales of Vesperia is one of the best JRPGs. In the Tales of... franchise it is only surpassed by Tales of Berseria for me. I'll definitely get this.

I'm still wondering if they'll ever localize Seiken Densetsu Collection, it includes what we know as Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and the one Seiken Densetsu/Mana game never to be released outside of Japan, and that last one is enough for me to want this collection so we english speakers can finally enjoy it officially.

I honestly see the switch becoming a definitive console to collect for there are soooo many ported or updated hd-ified games from the last generation and even a lot of stuff from the game cube and play station I really think it’s gonna be a console that people will buy even when it’s outdated just so you can collect all these older games that are redone kind of like the game boy advanced but way better like with the advanced you could play gba gb and gbc games plus lots of snes and nes games got ported over so it was a way to play and expierence all these games and a lot of people still love playing the game boy today

Google User nr. 1billion Im not sure if this game will be good. Or at least not nearly as good as the persona series. The writer is the only connection to persona, and the initial release (on vita) had terrible reviews. This version will be an enhanced version, but how enhanced? And why didnt they fix the vita version? If i was a fan, i would be furious. Apparently it has a similar premise as persona but entirely different execution. I still might bite, but i need to see what the reception will be.

Pyrokenshin Id say Persona 3. Persona 5 would be an awesome port, but persona 3 definetely needs an updated version. A better looking game (with the p5/catherine engine) and all the content from both fes and p3. Maybe even more added content if atlus is up for it. Persona 5 is still new and weve recently experienced it. While a port would be nice, the experience would be the same. And if Atlus wanted to, updates an expansion can released easily. P3 doesnt have that luxury. Id love to see more content, more events, more Elizabeth, and maybe a story arc about the creation of the Shadow Ops. Also, i think we can all agree that The Answer desperately needs difficultly settings and a compendium.

So excited for Grandia 2. I played that game when I was really young, I couldn't have been older than 10 years old, and I have such fond memories. I loved the style of the game and loved the story. Some of the bosses still stick out in my mind because of how awesome their design was, and because of the awesome "Heart/Eye/whatever of Valmar" theme.

Riley Pearce I prefer the frame rate and higher resolution on PS4 for The Caligula effect, Super Neptunia RPG, Tales of Vesperia DE, and Nelke the legendary alchemists, the only ones I care for on Switch is TWEWY and Labyrinth of refrain, the rest I need to see more of, also plus I don’t care for portability

GungHo did an _amazing_ job at porting Grandia 2 to Steam a couple years back. I was really skeptical and assumed they'd just throw out a lazy port for a quick buck, but they really put a lot of care into it. They even took the time and effort to respond to people on the Steam forums, answering questions and fixing bugs that they missed. I can't wait to see what they do with the first game, and I'll definitely grab both of them on the Switch when they come out.

Grandia was the first fantasy rpg i ever played. I was around 10 or what and my english was terrible, so i understood only half of the story or the combat system or anything xD Id be really excited to try out this nostalgic game once more!

A few things I was thinking. I'm assuming RMMV Switch is going to be more similar to RMFES, as much as I wish it'd be the same as the PC one (Maybe with the ability to work on the same project in both versions, as unrealistic as that sounds). Labyrinth of Refrain reminds me a lot of Etrian Odyssey. Also, Child of Light's being ported to switch. It's pretty good, despite the constant rhyming.
