Werewolf was a criminally underated show. The cast was phenomenal, the special effects were chilling and for the time so impressive. It's a shame that a bigger budget never materialised to really grasp audiences. It's one show I wish could be remade so that a real conclusion could be reached. It was a dark, hairy The Incredible Hulk.

I saw AMELIA as a child and it absolutely terrified me. I never saw it again, never knew the name, and did not forget it. I searched the internet but could never find anything about it and just stopped looking for it. Although seeing the “Zuni” with a 48 year olds eyes and being a little surprised at the low level of graphics, that thing stuck in my head and was a monster to my 5 year old self that all other monsters were measured and very few seemingly reaching its level. The last scene is still vivid to me even though you didn’t show it, a possessed Amelia sits staring into your eyes, in a receding frame, butcher’s knife in hand slowly stabbing the floor as her teeth grow steadily from her mouth. What a scene, at least that’s how it is in my memory. Thanks for the blast.

I must disagree with your assessment of the original miniseries take on Barlow; I found the kid hovering at the window and the guy sitting in the darkened room, eyes glowing and growling "Yeeessss, *look at me*, teacher!" much creepier than Barlow himself. I enjoyed "Werewolf" a lot back in 1987, cheesy wolf suits aside, because it was a lot like the Bill Bixby Hulk TV series, and oh yes, was Chuck Connors scary as heck in that one! But that blessed fetish doll was one of the scariest things ever because it was relentless, vicious, and FAST. Those high pitched snarls it made were just hair raising! Good video, y'all!

I like the gremlin in the Twilight Zone episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet." The makeup and costume are both properly basic, but there's just something about him that's utterly terrifying. He looks like a troglodyte, something that's not quite human but vicious enough to hate humans and to want to kill as many of them as possible, and enjoy doing it. Picking out one special passenger on the plane to reveal himself to in order to cause a maximum of chaos and fear inside it, just before he takes it down.

i know the shows are from the 80s-00s teen wolf from 11-17, there was a werewolf who transforms into a werewolf, theres 3 stages of eye color and strength and speed. Omega lone, Beta rookie, Alpha the powerful. Omega eyes turn blue since theyre not in a pack, beta follows the alpha, but even alpha comes in different forms. Peter Hale for ex, he was an alpha whos form takes shape of a huge wolf. Its not the ones from twilight but his alpha form is based on muscles, black body, no hair, dark red eyes and sharp claws. This was the only season we saw peter bite Scott and fight Scott at the end of the 1st episode. then theres the kanima 2nd season antagonist, hes a scaly lizard with long tail with serated claws. tail has venom can paralyze the victim if no antidote is found victim dies. Of course we didnt see the kanima's actual form, we only saw the shed skin. then there was the demon wolf, or aka Deucalion, who was blind by the Darache aka Jennifer, aparrently hes the god of the alpha wolves in the tv series which we saw his wolf form, terrifying facial expression. He sure has the wolf face, except hes grey, dark red eyes, brute strength, very frightening.
