Ultrasonic tip. Only use clean water in your cleaner. You can put your part in a plastic bag with a solvent in the water. The vibrations will travel through the bag. This way, you can use the cleaner for other stuff that you don't want in a harsh solvent, i.e. dentures. KZbinr, Steve's Small Engine Saloon taught me this.

Glass jars is what I've always been told, but plastic bags are way more convenient. Have you ever had one break in the cleaner?

Great video ! Instead of buying an ultrasonic cleaner, I got to thinking and used an old foot bath to do the same thing ! Works great ! I put the dirty parts in a separate container with the cleaning solution, for easy clean up !

I fill the ultrasonic machine with distlled water and fill a plastic peanut butter jar with Spray Nine and dunk the jar in the water. Works exactly the same. When the detergent gets nasty I'm only replacing a few ounces of detergent. Y'know what I'm sayin'? You know what I'm sayin'.😉

I’m a powder coat paint technician and that is a really inventive and cheap way to powder coat something. A lot easier than buying a powder coat gun, hopper and oven Also, you don’t need that much cleaner in an ultrasonic cleaner. Just a cap full is all you need, the rest is water (we use those too to clean off impact fusion from our equipment)

Glad we got someone showing that you don't need expensive fancy gear to catch fish. Earlier this week I went to the creek behind my house with my homemade cane pole and a hotdog soaked in coolaid, caught 3 little flathead catfish and 2 mid size dollar sunfish! I'm currently making a cast net from a dollar store mesh laundry bag and a bag of fishing weights I've had for years but never used. hopefully it works!

@@FishinNStuff Hi Keith! Man I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you feel bad ! I just love your channel. You do a great job of finding fishing related solutions and deals brother. Like I told you I'm disabled and on a fixed income of only about $1589.00 a month. I'm also on Medii-cal. That money goes fast. Like now. It's the 23rd and I have like $15.00 left in the account. And I have a savings account but at one point I had maybe $200.00 saved in my savings account. The government agency social security called me to tell me I had to use it within 30 days or they would cut off my monthly checks and force me to live on it until it was gone. They say you can own a house as long as you live in it but then they make sure you have no way of making or saving the money to buy a house. I did work at one job in customer service sales and credit management for 9 years but got carple tunnel and had to quit. Then I went back to college and worked hard for 5 years and was commuting on Access Services which is a transportation service for the disabled. I commuted 50 miles each way four days each werk to a college in Woodland Hills and finally graduated and found a job as an RVT for another 2 years until I had to quit to have a series of surgeries. I've had 6 surgeries in the last 2 years and I'm having another at the end of may just after my 61st birthday. I hope to go back to work as a Registered Veterinary Technician which is like a registered nurse but I work with animals. When I have worked they let me keep the first $65.00 I made but then they take HALF of everything I earn out of my disability checks. And many people think disabled people like me are lazy and don't want to work but the reality is people like me want to work but we can't afford to lose our Medi-cal. And they will cut you off of your medi-cal if you make a certain amount of money. The laws that apply to people like me were put in place in the 60s and have not changed much since then. Also I have a beautiful fiancee who is not disabled and is also am RVT but we found out if we marry they'll count our money together and I could not only lose my disability checks but also will lose my Medi-cal. Which I cannot do. So we've been together for almost 20 years but can't afford to get married because we'd get penalized. We even have the rings! It's crazy! Then if I were to die before her the government will come after her and force her to pay them back every penny I got in disability and every Penney they gave me in Medi-cal. With all the like over 20 total surgeries I've had in my lifetime the money they would force her to pay back would be millions! Anyway forgive me brother for the rant. I tell as many people about my situation as I can in the hopes that people will vote for laws that will change all this someday. And even with all ive told you here its only part of the story and challenges that I face in my reality. Maybe President Trump will change things. I can only pray! Thanks for all you do and for reading my rant. Take care Keith!

You even have me thinking about making videos for you tube. I'm a disabled 60 year old man with Spina bifida and in a wheelchair. I love to fish and I love to tie flies as well eventhough I'm not good at it yet because I've only been at it less than a year. I'd like to make videos that do two things. 1. Make videos showing other disabled people how to modify some aspects of fishing and things they can do and use to make it more enjoyable for them. And 2. Show non-disabled people that we are all the same nomater if we walk to the peir or roll to it. Keep em coming brother!

Still one of the very best KZbin channels for clever and well thought out Fishin Stuff and hacks that exists. I look forward to every video. I however like so many of us "older" gentlemen and ladies of course, retired and always nearly broke, have had to wean ourselves away from the now much higher priced Harbor Freight, and have had to look elsewhere to stretch an otherwise small dollar amount leftover at the end of each month. This situation which involves a growing number of Americans monthly (boomers retiring) makes this channel even more important, and allows us to keep the gear part of fishing fun and innovative. I appreciate the channel more than you know just for this, let alone the sheer entertainment value of each episode. Thanks for this... I lived in Asia for many years with my work in commercial Nuclear, and know well the current wholesale price of goods coming out of China of all qualities, and I can say there is no cost from China reason for Harbor Freight prices to have doubled for many things over the last five years. Crazy shipping costs (bulk container shipping) that started during Covid, and should have been temporary, have long been reversed by now, an are somewhat close to pre Covid pricing. Yet HF prices did not drop accordingly. Changing a good and very affordable product brand under the guise of creating a more quality commercial use product with a new fancy name, and phasing out the products that we all liked and could afford, is like putting lipstick on a pig, and has affected many of us Boomers and low income folks that cannot now afford many products at Harbor Freight. It is what it is and HF can do what they want, I just can't count on running over to HF expecting to afford a tool or consumable anymore. I hear this in the HF aisles from so many others as well. Too bad for many of us. I now rarely ever go to HF, and used to go there almost weekly if not more often, I never gave it a second thought, always was the best price there, you could count on it... not anymore.. Keep the great content coming, and thanks for suggesting other cheaper sources to allow your clever hacks to be made more inexpensively, it means a lot to many of us, perhaps more than you realize. With great respect.... Joe

@Jimmyfisher1218 ай бұрын
Marine heat shrink I laughed so hard I almost did myself an injury, you do realise it is just hot glue inside the heat shrink, if you have hot glue just put some along the wire you are going to use so it still fits let it cool insert into heat shrink and do as normal, the glue melts at the same temp as the heat shrink, job done you will see the melted glue come out and it is sealed, good for any outdoor wiring.
