I turned 25 a few months ago and HONESTLY I was so scared for it but I love it!! you feel that frontal lobe develop and as someone with a mental illness it was life changing as suddenly everything just made sense (obviously still got the mental illness but its like the way you handle it completely changes). I feel sad now for all the years I feared turning 25 as it now actually feels really refreshing. What's great about it to is 25 is still super young, it's almost like life has officially started now 🤍

@@natalieharrison4755 no such thing as never doing enough! we're all on our own timeframe and honestly when you take the pressure of yourself to achieve life changing things by a certain time/age you just start to enjoy life for what it is! 25 is a great age and aging is a privilege we should all enjoy 🤍

It makes me sad how 21 year olds see 25 as a death bed. Twenty-five is still super young so don’t put too much pressure to achieve certain things by that time. Especially with the current state of the economy restricting this generation from achieving milestones ie owning a house

As someone who is turning 25 in a couple of weeks, it makes me sad too. I went through the breakup of my serious long term relationship this year, I'm renting a tiny room and can barely scrape by financially and I'm starting uni. It's hard sometimes to not feel like I'm falling behind. I also spent a lot of years just being ill so that's set me back with the uni thing etc. There's no WAY I thought this would be where I was when I turned 25, even last year. I feel like there's a lot of people that feel this way and it's completely normal and fine. I still feel super young and have plenty of time to 'catch up', plus most people this age spent their early 20s in lockdown so for a lot of people this stunted their career growth, made health problems they already had worse etc but even without that, with the current cost of living it's very difficult for people to save money for things too. What I'm trying to say is I think a lot of people feel like they aren't where they 'should be' by 25 but there is no should be, everyone is on their own timeline and 25 is still young. There's plenty of time to figure things out!

I’m sorry you’re going through a break up - you’ve got this 🫶🏼 25 is still so young and you’ve got so much ahead of you, never compare yourself to influencers who did not go down the traditional route thereby have grown up a million times faster.
