True, and equally tragic is, if BlindSpot *had* gotten on to the team how many assignments would he accomplish before someone figured out his weakness and how many, near-misses, would occur before BlindSpot *had* to recieve medical treatment to prevent him from going deaf? Homelander's standards, which I'm explaining not endorsing, are no less cruel than the realities that BlindSpot would've to inevitably confront *had* he gotten on the Seven.

It’d be major plot twist if they revealed that he was just a bit better than the average Supe but not the almighty one. He isn’t Vought’s most valuable asset after all, there’s gotta be some form of power/or person they use to make Compound V with that could be the real deal and could possibly explain why Edgar is so unphased by him, as he knows the bigger picture which Homelander is just a small part of.

Homelanders catchphrase "you're the real heroes" is the shows way of saying that it is US, as the audience, the average voter, the ordinary man who is the real problem. We blame homelander for who he is because he is "EASY" to hate... A man who so desperately ants to be loved. But we look past the shows real villains which is edgar... a black man who literally works as CEO of a company founded by the Nazi's, a man so corporate and shallow he willingly allowed stormfront, a member of the KKK, to join the 7 and he knew full well who she was and what she'd done and it didn't phase him. The definition of evil is "Willful Ignorance". This definition does not actually apply to Homelander, Homelander is a victim of his own power and the people who moulded him into a sociopath for their own ends, but it applies firmly to Edgar and it applies to US because we hate Homelander and root for Edgar because Edgar holds power over Homelander... We should pity homelander and instead hate Edgar for creating him. If you pay attention to the rest of the cast you'll have noticed that every character is defined by their childhood and their parents influence. Billy butcher beaten by his dad, Soldier boy beaten by his dad, Huey lost his mum, Starlights mum betrayed her, A train was raised by his brother... Homelander was raised by Vought and it is Vought who re the real villains of the show not Homelander

Power doesn’t corrupt, it reveals
@jacobmcdorman5552 Жыл бұрын
@@purgeouterim The process to attain power scars. As power scars those around you, so must your spirit be scarred in turn. Basically, when you do a "little evil" for the greater good. Eventually you come to a point where you've become what you've fought against. Initially, you probably weren't so bad... over time... well history shows. And usually the evil done is a shortcut, and un-necessary. Vigilantism for instance. When you act outside of the law, you eventually become the villain you're fighting. Because the people you're fighting typically don't have a choice in the matter. “For if you suffer your people to be ill-educated, and their manners to be corrupted from their infancy, and then punish them for those crimes to which their first education disposed them, what else is to be concluded from this, but that you first make thieves and then punish them.” - Sir Thomas Moore, Utopia. (Batman could have built schools and low cost housing to fight the greater issue "crime and graft". But instead he decided to fight one on one, with people who'd be replaced immediately by those who were also desperate. Batman was an idiot. Same with Superman, screw Lex Luthor, that's 1 man who owns a "city" with what 1 million people? How about you use your technology and powers to help BILLIONS in need and let the petty king have his pointless throne). The great leader, who assumed absolute power to do what was "right" and "necessary" and was the paragon of virtue and sacrifice... Perhaps his successor is great... and the next one great... but, sooner or later, there will be a monster, who will use the ultimate power of the office for evil.

People who dont understand physics always brings the 1st point as some kind of evidence. There is no single point that he can hold weight of a plane, he would just go through it like a needle on a skin. Pressure is force applied to area, smaller the area, higher the pressure will be, aka hand area of homelander, and he will just go directly through it. if there were 2 homelanders they could have tried pulling it from planes wing, at the same time with exact same force (there should be holder for lifting up the plane), and to preserve already plummeting planes inertia they have to do it in reverse exponential curve of force-time graph, so you dont squish everyone inside. IN OTHER WORDS, it is impossible to do so in that case. Superman had this exact problem until they retconned him so now he has invisible force barrier that nullifies physics law. As smart guy once said, "You put force, you get exact amount back at you. Thiccer the booty, greater the attraction".

Seeing how starlight looked in season one she was almost perfect.i have no idea why she decided to have multiple plastic surgery.She now looks twice her age and starting to look like those women who have a serious addiction with surgery.She ruined her natural beauty

about flight 37, homelander isnt really a carbon copy of superman as he has some of superman's powers but extremely toned down versions of them, he also abides by the laws of physics meaning he literally couldnt hold the plane without the plane snapping in half

Hughie should def take permanent V and just say he was never strong enough to be a real supe for the next season

Homelander is All Braun no brains. Then he suffers when he screws up because he has a conscience and it drives him insane with suppressed guilt. It's very sad. He creates such great suffering and is suffering for it.

Personally I find Homelander and Omni Man very interesting characters because they're basically Superman but they are not exactly good guys compared to their original inspiration well Omni Man did change along the way in the comics.

This my fellow earthlings is why superman is kryptonian. If (most) earthlings got absolute power, their mind will form into something resembling this. It's actually pretty accurate for ppl who... Have never seen this kind of power before. "oR hAvE tHeY" C'mon man y'all are taking forever. We used to wonder who would stop you. We never expected it would be your own kind. Wake up
@jerm52 жыл бұрын
Being Kryptonian has nothing to do with it. Superman is good because he was raised that way by good people. If he had the same upbringing as Homelander, you bet he'd be a walking timebomb man-child too, regardless of his species.

I'd honestly just gonna consider this abomination as an antagonist, but never a "Villain", and definitely never a hero, Anti-hero or even Anti-villain. Villains have reasons for their choices. Homelander literally has not many. He's just a despicable creature who shouldn't be considered a Human.
@ElBloeTigre Жыл бұрын
Homelander didn't hijack the plane and the boy getting killed was a freak accident.
