The first two episodes felt great although since then, the show has sort of tailed off in terms of how believable the scenarios are. I'll be honest, I think that the show (especially the first two episodes) has a better atmosphere than the movie and does a better job than the movie at portraying a sort of desolate despair. The movie was 90's cheesy. But the show being on SyFy definitely shows in its presentation.

If you already watched the 5th episode, there might be a hint to that... but NOT Cole... an earlier splinter subject. And maybe Jones was the ultimate culprit to it all. Just maybe.
