If you are a more active lady, Torrid sells swim biker shorts. For years I've been wearing these underneath dresses and skirts in the summer, because I also live in the Pacific Northwest and impromptu swims are definitely a thing. They do the exact same thing as slip shorts and they are versatile. 😊
