For using posca markers in my sketchbook I have been experimenting with applying a thin layer of matte Mod Podge using a big brush or sponge before working. Taping down the paper while it dries helps with warping. Sometimes I have to paint a second layer over certain colours, but I have had no paper pilling whatsoever. I may try out some other mediums to see if it takes the colour a bit better, but this works pretty good regardless.

With regards to the "color cheat sheet," instead just paint the cap with the pen. I paint the tops of each pen with that pen's color so I can both see how closely it matches the cap and also so that the real color is facing out to me when I look at them in the boxes or on shelves.
