Have you come across anyone besides DBH who has discussed sacchidananda? I love his book “being consciousness bliss” but Idk any other Christians discussing the topic. I find it impossible to be a theologian or philosopher without a proper understanding of sacchidananda. Cheers 🥂

I absolutely love that book too! (The Experience of God) But I also don't know of any other philosophers, especially Christian ones, that discuss the doctrine of God in the same way DBH does in that book.

I would love for you to review a book by Ryan Mullins "End of the Timeless God" I think this book is very expensive but you might find it cheaper as a E-Book.

Wow I've never heard of that but it looks INTERESTING. I've actually had a wild journey through open theism and understanding how God and time relate, so that's a strong interest of mine......

@@JoelWentz Yes so recently there was a debate on the Topic of Dynamic Omniscience open theism, Warren McGrew (Open Theist) vs Turretinfan (Calvinist) on the Standing for Truth youtube channel, I think you would enjoy that debate discussion.

Would you say God’s Own Party is better than The Evangelicals? Just finished that book on your recommendation. If you were into CCM you might enjoy Mixtape Theology. I thought it was a fun book full of 90s memories.

Thanks for the rec! Sounds like a book I would indeed enjoy. Re: your question.....it kind of depends on what you are hoping to learn about. From a general perspective, Fitzgerald's book is probably "better" as it's a more well-rounded look at the movement as a whole. If you are looking for serious insight into specifically how evangelicals merged with the political right in America, then Williams' book is more insightful. Hope that helps!
