I got my hand tattoo like 2 months ago ,it's only my 3rd tattoo but I do not regret it i actually love it but I noticed it took a little bit longer to heal than the other two and yes I am very careful and have became conscious about the sun hitting it and scraping/scratching it ..it's a skull (wearing a crown with gemstones) and I noticed that a couple of the teeth may need a touch up but it seems like everyone I know with a skull tattoo have experienced the teeth getting dull or slightly fading ..maybe because the teeth are lighter than the rest of the outline

I'm covered front to back all over my body except for my face, neck, hand, and feet. Told myself I would never tattoo them incase I wanted to wear a suit and look clean. Well I ended up tattooing my left hand finally. And it's like you said... I look at my other hand and it's like, "Damn it!!" I dont want too but I do want to ink it lol. Tattoos... such an addiction. Hand tattoos are a big commitment though. No hiding it. Unless you want to Michael Jackson it and wear a glove lol.

Had both my hands tattooed since age 17 for my Right hand and age 21 (bday present from friend that had/has a shop). Im gonna be 50 in September 2022. So Ive had both inked for decades and I still love em. The've been the best ice breakers, which was never an intention. However, its caused mostly positive interactions with others especially now that I'm older and tattoos have become more "Main-Stream." My hand, neck and all over tattoos have not hindered me from employment. Since 2003 I've worked in the social service/ mental health field. The tattoos have in some ways helped me in with career. For example, I do case management for folks behind bars, homeless and such. So the folks I work with feel more comfortable working with me, partly because we look more alike and I also have lived experience. So in certain fields my tattoo have also been a super positive experience. After decades, I definitely have to such up my right hand, as Ive had it for many years. chEErs, 93

I had a good experience with my hand tattoo. For me, it wasn't any more painful than any other tattoo I have, accept over the wrist bones, that lit me up. It also healed quite well. So well, in fact, when my tattoo artist saw if after it healed he said "That is fucking amazing how well that healed". I lost absolutely no ink, but then again I was obsessive with the after care. And you were right with the need to have both hands tattooed. I went in with a plan for both hands. They are an intricate part of the sleeves I have planned. The right hand tattoo was the finishing part of my sleeve on that arm and I'm going to start the left hand and sleeve tattoo this summer. Also, Im on the older side and self employed, so I really don't have to worry too much about being judged by other people. And, I'm not planning in firing myself soon. Funny story, as I was getting it done, another artist in the shop walked in and said "What you got going here". looked and said "Oh.. A job stopper". I looked up and him, and before I could stop myself I said "Says the man with all the face tattoos". The whole shop busted up laughing.

Have you ever had an allergic reaction to the ink? It’s happened to me before and you get a big red rash but it usually goes away after 2 weeks of getting the tattoo. It’s also important to remember that a allergic reaction and infection of the tattoo are two completely different things

i have that with every tattoo.. it usually comes after 1 week and its done after 2 weeks.. my tattoo is red and full of pimples... i treat it with steroid creme.. it does not harm the tattoo at all... with that beeing said, its probably not the ink, its more a reaction to lotions or products i guess...

@@adidkjf are they “green/white pimpels” witch hurt and have Some puss ? And is your skin warm? I guess you figured it out by now by the looks of your comment. But just in case. I had Some 2 times and it was actually infected and hurt bad, I called my docter and got some antibiotics to fight the infection off. It healed real quick. But had the risk of blood poisening though bad steril work and not hygenic. I take good care of my fresh tats so if I can blame my artist or myself i dont know but it sounded familliar. I used to put vaseline on it but i learned that the thickness of vaseline doesnt let your skin breathe very well. I use tattoomed now and it cools the skin take away the redness and the after pain and the itch, and it isnt thick so your clothes dont stick to it. I dont know if its availeble where you live but maybe its helpfull and works for you

Honestly, as long as your tattoos aren't offensive or low quality, people don't seem to really care about them. My boss had tattoos from her feet to her chest. She had a tattoo on her head but you couldn't really see it because her hair covered 95% of it. Now that doesn't mean everyone will hire you with untraditionally placed tattoos. But it's definitely more accepted these days.

I’m definitely seeing more and more visible tattoos in “serious” jobs. Saw several doctors and nurses recently, and in IT company where I work I see lot of tattooed people some of them with hand tattoos. Nobody seems to have any problems with that. But yes, there are still more people without tattoos in the office. I worked at a warehouse few years ago and almost everyone had a tattoo there. Personally I love a good hand tattoo, I would like to get one. The thing that’s holding me back is not the job or strangers opinions, but my family. Although I would quite enjoy my fathers disappointed face, my mom and grandma are very important to me. So for now I just stick with tattoos I can hide if needed.

I’m stoked on my hand tattoo, but one thing to note is if you enjoy people not knowing you have any tattoos when you have a hoodie on, once you get your hand done there’s no hiding it and people are gonna ask about it even when you don’t want to answer questions about it

Really needed to see this right now! 3 or 4 yrs ago I would have never considered getting my hand tattooed. I've been thinking about it alot in the last couple of months n have a couple of ideas. I have a tattoo appointment in a week but I really don't think I'm ready to do my hand, the closer my appointment gets the more I question it!! Believe I will get something different done, that I'm positive about!! Descisions, Descisions!!!

@@jayvizzle and Pip ...I decided to not get my hand tattooed. I wanted my 1st American traditional tattoo to be something super close to my heart. I got a beautiful Mom & Dad tattoo with 2 hearts joining together with a couple of orange flowers. It's the only tattoo that I didn't tell my parents what my next tattoo would be (they are my best friends too), super close. Dad said it was his favorite one out of all of the tattoos I have....not because his name is in it he said, he just likes the bold colors!! Mom was speechless❤ I wanted to get this while my parents were still with me. Fast forward to now.....my Dad left this earth October the 5th. His 72nd birthday would have been October the 13th. I am beyond heartbroken and in disbelief. This was soo sudden. I've always been a Daddy's girl. I'm just breathing in and out right now. I'm soo glad that Dad seen my tattoo. I'm soo thankful that he's my Dad and my best friend but I miss him soooooo bad I can't hardly stand it.

0:05 Ah yes, there it is :D I was quite sure that i will get a hand tattoo at some point since i love body suits and big coverage. This year, i started to actually plan the design and think about the timing. I got so many big & visible tattoos (if i am wearing a t-shirt) in 2020 / 2021 that i finally feel "ready". As you said, my sleeves end up at the wrist so my hands look empty in comparison. Oh and my artist asked if/when i want to do them, so seems like he thinks im ready too :D Reason number 13: This might be a small one but you should consider stuff like a wedding ring or just simple bracelets. Not only do they rub against the skin on a daily basis, but they might even cover an important part of the tattoo/design. Especially the ring is something i am going to consider when planning the tattoo. I don't want sth important being covered and i also don't want that the ring might "disappear" visually because the tatto surrounding it is to prominent. On the other hand, if the ring matches the tattoo it might also look super cool

*Titanium Armour* Firstly, titanium armours can be spaced apart to increase the effectiveness at stopping bullets. And spacing the titanium sheets apart creates a cushion that slows the bullet before the titanium is penetrated. For example, a titanium shield can have a thin 1.2mm sheet of titanium over the front of the main shield plate. This 1.2mm sheet can have spacer lugs welded to it. Furthermore, a bullets force will be reduced on impact with a space of 1 centimetre inbetween two titanium sheets. And a 1.2mm sheet of titanium in front of the main shield plate would do this. Lastly, this titanium spaced armour has actually been demonstrated and tested to be effective on the American demolition ranches. Table#1 Types of Shields ------------------ *Titanium backpack buckler* -40cm in diameter -4mm thick titanium -Weight 2.5kg including handle -If the 4mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 7.62 NATO and 50cal magnum rounds with this buckler. *Steel backpack buckler* -40cm in diameter -3.5mm thick steel -Weight 3.7kg including handle -If the 3.5mm of steel is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 5.56 NATO and 45cal magnum rounds with this buckler. *Titanium Tower Shield* -100cm×70cm in Area -3mm thick titanium -Weight 10kg including handle -If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. *Titanium Shield* -50cm×70cm in Area -3mm thick titanium -Weight 5kg including handle -If the 3mm of titanium is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. *Aluminium Shield* -50cm×70cm in Area -10mm thick Aluminium -Weight 10kg including handle -The tensile strength of aluminium varies a lot between regular aluminium and the 7000 series of aluminium. And that means you can make this shield just as effective as titanium. *Steel Shield* -50cm×70cm in Area -3.5mm thick steel -Weight 10kg including handle -If the 3.5mm of steel is a high tensile strength and spaced correctly you will be able to stop 45cal magnum rounds and 5.56 NATO with this shield. Next, you can use duct tape to assemble your brigandine armour plates. You can create a complete suit of brigandine that goes over the top of your jumper and jeans with duct tape. Furthermore, duct tape allows you to add bullet proof plates to all areas of your body. you can make any shape you like including the helmet without the requirement to weld or fabricate the metal. It looks like storm trooper armour when you are done. In addition, you can also keep just duct tape on a box of plates in your cupboard and nobody will suspect it is an armoured suit. Lastly, the perfect thickness for bullet proof brigandine plates is 3.0mm or 4mm titanium. And you just try and find the highest tensile strength titanium you can and just use that thickness. In addition, I have also decided that if you get a 1mm thick aluminium face size plate you can shape it in to a horror face and then bolt it to your titanium helmet. As a result, you can have a full set of bullet proof brigandine armour with a horror face helmet. That is going to be terrifying with swords and bowling ball cannons. Finally, if your metal tensile strength is high enough you will be able to deflect or even completely proof yourself against 7.62 NATO bullets. Table #2 Use of Formulas ------------ s = tensile strength in pascals (Pa) F = force in newtons (N) A = cross-sectional area in (m²) m = bullet grain mass (kg) a = acceleration of bullet (m/s²) t = time of impact (seconds) v = velocity (m/s) *(m(v/t=a)=F)/s=A* 9mm bullet Force = (m(v/t=a)=F) v/t=a (430m/s)/(0.0024s)=179,167m/s² ma=F (0.0075kg)(179,167)=1344N Aluminium tensile strength = 240MPa = 240000000Pa F/s=A (1344N)/(240000000)=5.6e-6m² 5.6e-6m² = 0.0000056m2 = 0.056cm² = 5.6mm² Therefore, a 115 grain 9mm bullet traveling at 430m/s requires 5.6mm² of 240MPa Aluminium to block it. On the job discussion. I'm an Engineer. I'm almost certain, I'm the only person in my industry in my entire city with a hand tattoo, or even a full sleeve. If anything, I think that it helps my job prosperity as its just another item to make me more memorable. I'm not afraid to do something like get visible tattoos, I'm also not afraid to step up and take on any challenge in my work, and that entire mentality, shows. Everyone's used to the straight edge, do as told look. Nothing wrong with that either of course, but moving forward, yes, standing out absolutely can be a benefit. Own it and do so with confidence.

Had both my hands tatted over the last year, they're holding up great. One spot on one knuckle is slightly faded along with a small part of a line, rest of it is solid. Other hand, there's some smoke as negative space going through a lotus but without lines it looks weird now that it's healed, rest of the lotus is super solid a year later, I'm going to have some texture added to the smoke. As far as pain goes, if my chest was a 9/10, the hands were a 3/10. The side of the hand was probably a 5/10.
