Here are some of the pieces of advice I have found myself giving again and again. So I have codified them into rules!

Stakeholders: get to know who they are, what their 'stake' is and how they might either support or sabotage the project (either inadvertently or intentionally due to conflicted interests.) Sit down with each one, ask them their view of the project, how they see themselves contributing to it and how they see it benefiting their operation. Then keep in touch with them, let them know what the project is up to; any changes that might interest them.

I'm still in minute 3 and already commenting. I sincerely needed this video. You are giving me the right info and mindset at the very important point in my life. I had inadequacy feelings since I started this job though I killed it with my common sense and adaptation, yet I'm not the PROFESSIONAL who I wish I would be now through the knowledge. I'm trying to get done with the CAPM so I get the very basics accurate. Then will continue towards PMP. Any advise if I should wait the new PMBOK 7th or let me just study this course in-hand using the 6th edition. (Please), Thank you very much! (Sir)🌹

PMI will make announcements in due course. Until then,PBOK6 is the basis of the CAPM exam and one of the core references for the PMP exam. It's likely to stay that way for a fair while. Take your exams at your own pace. Don't worry about syllabus changes; follow the guidance at the time. Your career is a long game. Good luck.

Big respect and appreciation sir. Talking to you from Rurals of Africa, I'm an expatriate there having a part in developing and contributing to lives of poor and disadvantaged farmers. And your channel helps greatly. Couldn't find any better though I did watch a lot here on YT. Thanks for the content and hard work. You're the best.
