Combat from Java was not fully ported to Bedrock (it was, but in a less frustrating way), Bedrock lacks gamemodes like Spectator and Adventure. Gameplay wise, Bedrock is harder.

I played both of those editions, and I couldn’t choose what Edition was the best. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Why does everyone brag about the bridging in bedrock? In my opinion, learning to bridge fast in a particular shifting and un-shifting pattern BACKWARDS is more impressive. But bedrock bridging seems kind of fun ngl. This is just my opinion I'm not saying this is a fact
