Found by chance to spend the night on the way from san francisco to los angeles, a wonderful find, a place with a lot of charm. thank you very much for the insight into Hearst Castle. We were denied access in 2016 because of the great fire in the backcountry. The visitor station became a base station for the arriving firefighters and we were instructed to head back to the sea. Thank God the fire did not reach this wonderful property. Hearst Castle was then the place to be for the Hollywood stars, who received an invitation to the legendary parties was a lucky one. Many thanks for your great videos. Best wishes from Germany

We are from California but live in Tennessee now. Cambria has always been one of my favorite spots in the world & it was such fun to join you there for a little while. If COVID ever ends, I would love to travel & enjoy the places in Cambria & San Simeon that you are suggesting. Sorry if name icon comes up 2x. Some sort of computer glitch we don't know how to fix.

Love this place like everyone else that's been there. Stayed in a little hotel at the north end that had a little 9 hole golf course(long gone) and walked with the kids all over that town and it's beaches. Great Rock finds and cliffs that we're amazing. Just a short drive to the elephant seals( plan a trip around seeing that) and the Hearst Castle, just a great place to see. The quaint little town of Cambria.....phenominal
