After my mom past i was walking in the woods where i grew up feeling a lot of pain. I came across a kid with his dog it was a Labradoodle A laborator with carly hair. The dog wanted to come to me so bad but the kid held on to him . We walk in different Directions 10 minutes later the dog must of got away from him . I was sitting on a rock .i see that dog running to me without the kid . The dog sat next to me a laid his head in my lap . Knowing how i felt. It made me feel better. I'll never forget that. What an amazing dog . I still think about it and I still feel better when I do.

Dogs are so special , I’m confident that when we pass and the first sweet we see will be Jesus our saviour smiling with love beyond comprehension, then we will be aware of all our loved ones who have passed on before us. Then our precious Dogs, God gave them the gift of love and loyalty, trust me they will be there. I’m not just saying Dogs to the exclusion of others but just highlighting a truth, I believe xx

I had a small dog that I took everywhere with me and when I would visit my parents he didn’t seem like he cared to be around my mother. My mother was not a very loving person and she ended up having a stroke when I’d had the dog about a year. When she came home from rehab he seemed to have a very different reaction to her and he would often sit in her lap which is something that he hadn’t done before that. That stroke seemed to make her more vulnerable and just softer and he picked right up on it

My mom passed away in 2001 at home with hospice. I was by her bedside and her beloved cat was on the bed with her. At the moment of death Darby (her cat) jumped up and looked very frightened. She then looked up towards the ceiling before jumping off the bed. I believe she saw my mom's spirit leaving her body. I took care of Darby after that and she lived 17 more years to the age of 22.

I'm not a superstitious man but I remember when I was a boy and my grandad died. He was buried in the large municipal cemetery right across the city from where he had lived. He had had a mongrel dog who the day after his funeral went missing. The police were informed and we (in my family) began a search of the area where my grandad had lived. Nothing was found. The neighbours joined in the search too - my grandad was a well liked man and he had many friends. After about four days the search eventually faded away. About a week after his funeral the police turned up and told us the dog had been found. He was lying on my grandad's grave. He was in such a bad way that the vet said the kindest thing to do was have him put down. To this day I don't know how he was able to travel right across the city and find my grandad's grave amid the thousands of other graves. It will always remain a mystery to me.

I have always enjoyed being around animals more than people since I was very small which still holds true today Maybe it's a trust issue and much more. Some people have said I'm crazy for feeling that way most people understand cause they feel the same way. Yes, dogs know things somehow. My little dog used to mimic my squinty eyes when I needed my antihistamine & my Border Collie Lab gives me “the eye”. I always pay attention & take the antihistamine quickly before it gets worse. How do they know? Do we have ultra violet auras that change color?

My Dad passed away during the night in a hospice in 2017. I was there with him. My house was about 20 miles away from the hospice, and his dog was staying with us. At the moment of his passing, both his dog and my dog started barking really loud with lots of enthusiasm like someone wad there, or like they knew something had happened. Very strange. Coincidence? Perhaps, but perhaps not.

Dogs are sentient beings, they feel, see, hear, smell, understand, & respond. I’ve rarely met a dog that wasn’t smarter or more loyal, than a person. They are alert & aware even when sleeping. They know more about us than our closest family, friends, or spouse. My husband & I used to pray together nightly, I don’t know what was stirred up in the spiritual realm, but dogs in the neighborhood always started barking,. Clearly something was going on.

Dogs are good speech therapists. Believe me my daughter was not talking despite good comprehension of 3 languages and after getting our dear dog her teachers were wondering how beautifully she was speaking. Dogs are also the best teachers in development of children. There was a dog in the neighbourhood who was a favorite and all kids learned how to walk as they wanted to have him around. After he died at 12 only, there was no kid in the play ground for the entire summer. We all miss him.

maybe that’s when he moved on. My brother stayed with us when he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He was an alcoholic and lived with us until he received Va disability benefits. My husband had a hard time accepting him until he didn’t. My brother tried to reciprocate our care by buying things for us when he got his monthly payment. He and my husband bc friends. He died two days after my 59 bd. I was going to have a huge party. After he died, every time my husband and I argued, he would make things drop in the kitchen. My Shepard knew it was him and didn’t seem the least bit concerned that things would fall in there while nobody was in there. I finally had to tell my brother, I was ok and he could go on into ? The objects stopped after that and I no longer felt his presence. Spirits stay and animals know they’re there

I often feel sad to know that dogs must suffer from the loud music some of us listen to. When we crank up the volume to wall vibrating levels, can we not have empathy for our poor captive animals? A long time ago it occurred to me that loud music would stress my animals so I do not subject them to that torture.

My dog and the dogs here for dog sitting can see the angels in my apartment. You can watch their eyes follow them around the room. They also can see evil spirits and often bark and growl at them. There is one that they are afraid of. When it is here, usually at the front door, one dog in particular is afraid to come through the door and must be drug thru.

I got a dog I found on the street starving to death she's a red vessel hound dog 🐕 and she is constantly letting me know when the storms coming she hates storms because she lived out in them she carries down to them whenever they're really bad. She also watches the house at night there's no person or animal that gets anywhere close in a three-block radius that she don't know about. And if she isn't outside patrol in the yard she'll come and get me and wake me up my grabbing my arm or jumping on the bed until I get my ass up to see what's going on I'm now had this dog for close to 8 years and she is the best

Because of this open- minded channel, I feel I can tell some of you what happened when I didn't see a friend for some time. People find things like change of address, etc., can mean we don't see so much of one other. I was walking into the town centre , and a cat was sitting there. Amazingly, I felt it was slightly SMILING! A "MONA LISA" smile! How could that be? But it was! And the thing was that I felt that my friend's dear mother had died, and wanted to say goodbye "through" the cat! This lady certainly didn't dislike cats, and had one a long time before.

Owners don't always value or care for their dogs. It makes makes me sad knowing that many dogs are abused or neglected when theyvare so loyal and intelligent plus everything else they are capable of doing. Some people don't understand or appreciate their dog but I believe that to have a dog's friendship and loyality is a great privilege.

My dog has a keen interest in and sense of any fly or bee on the patio door. Alway brightens my day to watch him try to catch those buggers.

From a spiritual perspective, many believe dogs see beyond the physical realm, perceiving energies, intentions, and even spiritual presences that humans might miss. This idea is rooted in various cultural and spiritual traditions, where dogs are seen as guardians, healers, and companions with heightened senses that allow them to detect subtle vibrations or spiritual entities. Some people report that their dogs react to what seems like empty spaces, or show empathy for human emotions before they're even expressed. This leads to the belief that dogs may have a kind of "sixth sense," allowing them to sense emotions, detect illness, or even feel impending events like a storm or earthquake. Spiritually, this sensitivity is often seen as a gift - a way for dogs to connect deeply with humans, protect them, and sometimes offer comfort when it's most needed. In this sense, dogs might be thought of as spiritually attuned beings, tuned into a frequency of the world that goes beyond what we can physically perceive. Their presence often encourages us to be more present, to pay attention to our emotions and surroundings, and to value the unseen connections that bind us together.

Let’s cut to the chase here. A dog’s sense of smell is 44 times that of human beings. Humans have 5 million scent receptors in our noses dogs have 220, million scent receptors in their noses.
