Hippo VS Lion
In the dead of night, a lioness finds an opportunity. Three tons of meat that would leave no animal hungry for days, a massive hippo is hiding in the thickets. The lioness investigates the potential meal with one of the young males. If they’re going to take down the hippo, they will need the help of the entire pride. Taking on a hippo is a dangerous undertaking, even for a pride of lions. Hippos can pierce right through a lion’s body. In a clash between size and numbers, both predator and prey consider their options. The lioness makes her decision, and when the hippo tries to escape, the lioness has the support of the pride. However, to feed, the lions must knock the hippo off balance and pull it sideways, but the young male doesn’t have the strength yet, to do so.
The lioness gives it a shot, while the rest of the pride hangs back, as they rip into the hippo’s back, the lioness pierces the hippo’s six-inch hide for a drink of blood. The hippo makes a move and tries to escape, but the pride chases him once again. The second time he tries is the right one, as he runs straight into a waterhole and gets to live another day. This hippo is forced to find a new bathing pool but must defy this pride of lions to gain access to it. You can see all the bite marks on the hippo’s body as it’s trying to chase the big cats away. The hippo’s hard work pays off and the lion pride decides to hold their picnic elsewhere. In this video, three lions try crossing a river, but they don’t notice a territorial hippo that doesn’t appreciate the felines trespassing into his territory. The massive beast swims towards the lionsand charges at them like a freight-train, chasing and attacking two of the lions, while one gets away.
Hippo Chasing Boat
A relaxing boat ride along a river in Africa is cut short as a hippo appears out of nowhere and attacks the boat. Fortunately, they make it out unscathed. Hippos attack boats and hunt humans all the time. Keep an eye out for an enraged hippo! Tourists on a boat on Kenya's Lake Victoria were out for a ride when they noticed a hippo staring at them from several meters away. Suddenly, this colossal beast was having none of it! As the big hippo chased their boat, diving in and out of the water, the stunned tourists maintained their composure.
This boat appears to be pursued by a whale, but ladies and gents, it's a hippo. Isn't it amazinghow fast it's swimming? I'm quite impressed! The hippo can swim at rates of up to 8 kilometers per hour underwater. Swimming underwater with no natural gills is considered difficult because hippos weigh at least 1500 kg. It is worth mentioning that these amazing natural species live in slow-moving rivers and lakes rather than reservoirs. A territorial hippo charges a passing boat in South Luangwa, providing a thrilling andunforgettable safari boat tour for all passengers. It must be scary to see such an aggressive and large animal chasing you this way.
