I prefer the Ralph Lauren brand. I find that they consistently put out classics. I’ve never found another brand with the quality that’s offered. The prices are a bit more but it’s so worth it. Oh, and if you’re on the email and text list they do offer a lot of sales.

@@mercedes523 completely agree about Ralph Lauren. They have also stayed consistent in terms of their style. The app has some amazing deals.

It's funny that you mention sizing up in pants...I've been having this issue of being between sizes forever (juniors always fit me better than misses tbh) It mostly happens when retailers sell larger sizes but aren't a Plus Size or Women's retailer. A 16/18 & a 16W/18W are not the same size. The 16 is way too snug & when I go up a size, it's too big. Funny, I always thought my short waist/high rise was the problem but when I sz up it's the waist that is too big.. That is a simple alteration & I can have the tailor add some elastic to the waistband to ensure the trousers stay comfortanle if my weight fluctuates which it always does. I think it's fun to see what trends come & go. The only time it's frustrating is when the silhouettes, colors & cuts that suit you best are "out of style" & not readily available. Pants became problematic for me in the late 90s when the rises lowered & everything became slouchy. Before that, it was just a matter of which leg opening you prefered. Since the current trend is higher rised pants & shorter tops/ jackets, I am trying to fill the holes in my wardrobe now before it changes again. I don't care about the trends that I know from past experience don't work for me. I stock up when they do & keep those pieces for as long as they fit me & don't look worn out.

This was SO helpful, thank you! I had been getting anxious lately about how to stay in style without having to change TOO much about the things I like, & this video helped tie so much together for me! ❤ I'm going to watch it again!

Yes! I've learnt so much from you, Nada. I can tick all the boxes in this video today. If an outfit doesn't say WOW when buying new I'm learning to walk on bye.

Bingo. I ask myself, is this a ten? Often it isn't. We can waste a lot of money on items that never really work for us.

Excellent tips here, Nada. So true about, for example, defining your best pant leg style and sticking with it. Anytime I veer away from that, I don't like how I feel. You have the best, practical advice out there, and I follow a lot of fashion bloggers. Thank you!

Is there a way to join your closet group WITHOUT doing it on Facebook😢? My Facebook is often hacked and I can’t rely on being able to get to anything.
