I had an Aunt Marilyn who passed away 5 years ago. She was the buyer for her family's small town department store and went to NYC and LA on buying trips where she also got beautiful clothes for herself. After she died, her daughters had several closet cleanouts where I was gifted a number of her clothes that I wear all the time. She was my real life rich Aunt Miriam and everything time you say that, I think of her. ❤

This is everything I love about you and your channel, and I’m thrilled that there’s more to come. I thought that the cherry dress and green trenchcoat couldn’t be beaten, but then the sunshine yellow skirt became a shrug. Fabulous style principles too. My favourite is the one about playing with your clothes. My husband was doing the washing yesterday and he remarked that we seem to have many more colourful clothes than we used to. Yay! I’m going to terrify him now by trying my skirts on as shrugs. ;)

Wow! I am ironing a bright lemon yellow blouse and skirt i'm planning to wear tomorrow!!! I'm adding opaque black tights and black loafer pumps to ground my overall look and add a bit of warmth and coverage as the skirt is a bit short. Just went thrifting wed and thurs. Anything large can be worked with….hair ties, safety pins or a well positioned knot. I have a large pair of FLAX pants that I wear paper bagged with a woven belt (allowing tightening max).
