Segwit seems like a mess and should have been a hard fork. But then I saw the upgrade path and realize this works really nicely as a soft fork

Out of curiosity, with the actual context with ordinals, the speaker's proposed idea to not sign the input is even less viable isn't it ? Implementing it would mean that you could takeover any inscription owned by someone by choosing the inputs where the inscription is located am I right ?
